Not sure what to do here, bb is fish just kinda loose not sure what his leaks are. villain is a very solid reg, runs like 20/17. I've played a lot with him but im just not positive if he's auto raising a fd with overs here (i mean i feel like most regs would), nor do i know if he'd shove over my raise with that for sure. I do know that if he's doing this for value he's beating me. i'm getting a bit under 2:1. What do i do?

I assume you raised flop because you assumed you had the best hand, so I don't see how you can really fold to this. I'd guess it's really likely that you're up against like a NFD or something with similar equity.

What could villain possibly flat the fish's donk with, knowing you are yet to act behind on this board--especially w/ the odds you get to draw w/ anything.

Maybe he thinks you bump it up w/ a worse FD and now his FD is the best hand so he should shove. That's the only thing that seems logical, I mean, could he really flat like 55 or JJ? I don't see it.

I'd call it off. Mostly because he got donked into, and ppl expect that a donk might induce some bluff raise, so I'd imagine he'd raise flop with some sets or strong hands. Definitely expect to see some overs+FD here.

I'd assume your most likely hands are Ac9c, Jc9c, Tc9c, and 9c8c. Of those Ac9c is probably least discounted because calling might make more sense with the others, which makes this a crappy spot. I just think it's pointless to raise here if we are going to fold to a shove, even if there is a fish in the pot.

Edit: Nut clubs with the wheel draw will always shove and might not raise the donk.

What do people think of flatting the flop here? That was my first inclination. We do have position.

Its a meh call as played I think.

I think I would fold, he could have TT-AA, FDw overs maybe set. I dont think we match up to good at all against his range.

calling was my first thought as well given the fact that as played, i'm not really happy with either option.

Yeah but it won't be easy to get value from worse and I wouldn't really want to pay $150 just for taking it down immediately in the case that I am ahead. Stacking off is just very thin here.

meh worse case scenario is he has a set, but its very unlikely he wouldn't raise flop vs fish.

Yah I'm in the same camp. I'd flat IP fairly often. Though I think if we were OOP, I would squeeze much more often. Partially because squeezing OOP looks stronger here, and also because the rest of the hand would be much harder to play if we just flat.

obv fold vs jamie. what a nit

i think u can raise smaller but i would call the first time around. i thnk hes raising the lead with his draws almost always so i would fold to the shove. he might flat the flop with JTcc or something but very low chance hes jamming them when u raise
