1/2: go red line, 3 hands

For all hands my stats are 23/18 with 9% 3bet.

I've got villain at 33/23 with 27% 3bet over 30 hands. His 5bet sizing seemed pretty ridiculous so I just pretty much snapped it in within a sec or two. Not a clue what range he calls with, but it's probably not wide. Also dunno about his 5bet tendencies. Yay I've got a blocker.

2: I dunno about this one. I couldn't resist. Villain is 27/21 with 11% 3bet. I have no idea why I was spewing preflop but whatever. I guess the plan was to steal it at some point and seems like this was the best I could come up with. Who calls this with the ace? I mean he prolly doesn't even have one.

since no one is giving a real response i will...

1. ...cant be that bad since he cant call with AK right... not much history to say what he does with kk or something, but it cant be that bad, i dont mind it

2. free money, why not... doubt an A ever calls unless he really knows you, its not like you have a bunch of 6s in your range though

3. meh, id want some sort of read that he isnt a post flop station as soon as he gets a hand that he likes but that river bet is pretty dam weak, if he does this with nuts to make you spazz then gg but more likely he has 88/55/A6s, right? which should fold np...

4. seems dumb, if u wanna milk the fish bet smaller? or check behind if not. i assume this is for value and you hope he has QcXc? seems bad since i do this (as villain) with like AJ sometimes where villain wont call with worse so i check to pick off a bluff

hand 1 is just suicide. you have 30 hands of history with villain, and are putting in 300+ bbs w/ AQs. Villains 85bb 5bet should tell you something here, and with no history, its the easiest fold ever. i dont mind the initial 4bet at all, but come on.

hand 2 is spew from the beginning, but if you HAVE to bluff, $70 gets the job done just as much.

hand 3 its clear as day what your doing, but there aren't many combos of sets, and in my experience these get looked up by QQ+ too much.

Agree with most of bode's comments.

Hand 1: He's IP, I think if he had anything remotely playable he might even peel your 4bet IP given stacks, so once he 5bets.. I don't know. You're screwed.

Hand 2: agree with bode, your riving sizing is completely unnecessary. c/r to 70ish would work just as well. I have no idea why you perceive this as remotely a good spot to bluff though. His line completely resembles Ax.. I don't see how you figure he doesn't have Ax here. Makes no sense.

Hand 3: whatevs... I don't think he's that strong based on his river sizing.. but I also think he can convince himself that his sizing caused some spew.

Hand 4: sure it's fine sometimes.. some ppl might look you up with worse here... some rivered Qx or something. It's thin but way better than the other 3 hands.

1 and 2 seem kind of std but obv on the spewy side. in 2 id imagine u would lead the turn almost every time u have a 6 in your hand but he prob isnt a very good handreader.

3 seems like a flop fold and a turn fold

4 id just check for sure. on that board all of his good aces make more money from checkcalling than 3rd barreling and a lot of people will take that line

Thanks for helping me out Rich. Nr2 is just so fkin horrible against anyone half decent, although I didn't feel like that was the case here. This was the kind of spot that marshall pointed out in another thread where I just wanted to make up for a preflop mistake.

Nr3: Flop meh, very good price, top pair, position, fish in the pot. Turn meh, good price, position and the fact that I can take it from him on the river pretty often. So I guess I disagree somewhat in that I think both calls are winning plays for me at these stakes.

At first I thought a 6b for hand 1 is what I'd likely do, but after hearing gabe's suggestion, I like that one a lot better.
