2/4 ATs facing raise / bet

okay. haven't posted in a while. taking some shots at 2/4 but i've run into a spot like this a few times now and I just dont' get it.

i'm not sure if its a 2/4 thing, a leveling thing, not really understanding whats too much thinking or whatever, point is if it keeps upsetting me I'll keep making mistakes or let my game slide on other tables.

opp is: 20/17/4.1 with 5% 3bet

okay so here's what i'm thinking, he's repping 22 or 66 on the flop because I don't really see this type of player playing a hand like AQ or AJ this way, i think AK is slightly possible but more likely that he'd 3bet pre. Then on this turn the 6 is in a way good reducing chances of 66, and if he has 22 I can't see why he'd bet so much on a really non-scary board. Betting AQ or AJ this way on the turn makes little sense too - i mean he's trying to get value from AT or similar hands only in which case a much smaller bet would make sense.

If i fold this type of hand on the flop imo it has to be a leak, ie why even play AT if you fold to a raise knowing that a 2/4 reg figures I will cbet this flop with 100% of my range.

How would you proceed here on the turn or maybe flop even??

without some better reads its a tough spot. pretty much have the nuts here vs everyone but a nit.

if opp is a nit then fold turn.

if you think otherwise then i call down since raising turn stop him continuing with any draws etc.

just to stress again, just need reads. if you have no decent reads on him at all then prob best to just let it go. stats dont provide much info except he seems solid/on the tighter side.

He's not repping only 222/666. He has a low 3bet, so he probably has hands like AJ/AQ and maybe even AK sometimes and knows his raise looks like BS here.

I'd just b/f until I had more reads on this villain and him raising flops light.

This would be much more bs if villain had a high 3bet of like 9ish, then I'd say he's not repping very much.

folding flop is not a bad idea

I like folding the flop too. He has no reason to think you don't have an ace based upon your betting, so his raise says one of two things: 1) I can beat your ace with my set or kicker, or 2) I think I can push you off top pair. If you have no reason to think he would know enough to try 2), it must be 1) and you're beat.
