you definitely bluffed the river, but i don't understand why - what did you think he had? he called two strong bets on the flop and turn, so a set, two pair or TPTK are all likely. he can release only a KQ in this spot, and you bluff him?

you also make no reference as to what kind of player you're up against - at 5NL this could be a clueless calling station as well as a tight-weak player; both require different approaches to handle.

Ok....im about to demonstrate why i am a break-even player at 10NL after 200,000 hands (flame away :D i know i am bad). I dont hate the way you played this. I like your bet sizing on all streets. Considering its 5NL, we don't have any info and he limped from UTG and called your raise, id put him on a range 22+ KTo/s+ ATo+. He is calling your flop bet with 22, TT+, KT, KJ, KQ, QT, AT,. He will call you down with this range on the turn and river. I would b/f the river.

Call me a nit but I'm shutting down after he calls the bet on the flop. If he checks back the turn I'll think about betting the river. If he bets the turn, I'm folding unless it's a stupidly small bet. Unless of course you have a read that this guy is a total drooler. Even then he could have limp-called K7o and you're still crushed. :)

stats/reads would really help alot if hes a station calling down with Tx pp's and gutshots (Q9 J9 AJ ) and QJ then obviously goign for value on the turn and even the river is best,

if he is a tagfish (assuming anyone who open limps utg 1 is a fish) then hes limping with like pp's / low braodways (AJ KQ KJ QJ JT AT KT A9) and hes not calling down with any draw worse than QJ then i recommend checking the turn and getting value from all his Tx and 66-99 on the river. If he bets when i check the turn then depending on the player i am folding, if i feel like hes going to float me a high % then c/c is EV++ cause hes going to have air a good % of the time and thats the only way i get money out of the air portion of his range (and if he checks SDV hands you can get a street of value from them still on river)

Seeing you bet QQ like this on this board is only encouraging me to call raises with crap like K7s. Bet flop for sure, I'd be more than happy to see him fold and take it down at the flop. No problem with flop bet. If he continues, ask yourself what he continues with. Maybe he has smaller pair, but it's unlikely for me. They usually fold the flop to a K or A after calling a raise, so he's likely got a piece of the flop. That's set, top pair or QJ. Crap like JTs should still fold for the same reasons that smaller pockets fold, there's a king and you raised. Face it, he has the king, he told you at the flop. Shut down instead of spewing. If he checks the turn, then maybe he has QJ and we can call a river bet if he makes one, but that's about as much money as I'm putting in after our flop c-bet unless we bingo the Q.

in my opinion even if he is calling the flop with worse than a K he isnt calling 2 streets in a row like that, you have to show some weakness and widen his calling range some by checking and going for value on the river

no obvious draws on the board , feels pretty dry to me , can't see why you would ever 3 barrel there. no stats from villain so you give us a pretty hard time thinking whether he would spazz a hand like AT there
