Can't believe there isn't a post about this. FTR's own Danny Steinberg (IowaSkinsFan) was on espn2 last night for their 2 hour telecast of the WSOPE 2010. I watched it last night and it could be argued that Danny was the star of the show. They'll probably do reruns this week and the final table will be shown next weekend, Sunday the 20th, on ESPN 2.
For those who watched, how did you think Danny looked?
I watched, your doppelganger seemed to be in top form. Pretty cool to get to watch both Danny and rootbone's apathy at the same time.
Yeah posted in the randomness thread because it was truly random. I watched all of this live on ESPN360 so I knew what was going to happen but I thought Danny obviously played really well and came off as a really friendly guy.
boost - I think apathy = Peter Jetten as opposed to Brian Powell who was the one on Danny's left. Could be wrong.
Definitely enjoyed it. Lots of good table talk and the interviews were classic Steinberg. I was pretty pumped to watch some legit good poker on TV for once when Danny was sitting with Blom.
The bluffshove with a pair of sixes, get called by QQ and spike a set line is awesome. I wonder if ISF will teach me that one day.
