My father is a professional handicapper looking to challenge others. He has been handicapping for 40 years, and has managed to maintain a WINNING ROI (Rate on Investments, or the average) for 20 years. We have documented proof of these Successful ROIs which are based on 2 dollar wagers, with the ROI over the most recent 200 races being $2.80. He is interested in joining with a partner who has business/software knowledge.

I can vouch for this. I must be too, cause I always thought ROI was my Return on Investment and I also thought spam would need an email or a URL for us to fall into the tarp

I am not spamming I am honestly trying to help my father out by finding him a business partner.
I think it's a travesty that someone would hurt the other horses just so he could make some money on a race.

I'm finding it completely impossible to understand why you came to a poker strat forum for this when a quick google search for horse betting forums netted me 1.4 million results.
My mother is doing the horse racing forums. Also, we are looking for anyone who has gambling, wagering, and or general business knowledge to help us not just horse race handicappers since handicapping is my Dad's responsibility.
so basically you are looking for mug punters to sign up to some ultimately subscription site and get a guaranteed income from the mugs rather than putting your own money at risk by actually betting on the horses.
Wow, to your past achievements , i didn't actually bother going through the list of past tips and results,but what does it prove. It could just mean that you saved up the last three months horse racing results and put enough winners ,seconds etc in there to show a profit. WHeres the forecasts for the next weeks races so people can actually scrutinise his performance.
I still don't get why you need "partners" to come on board.If your dad is any good he should be making serious money and increasing his bets way beyond 1-2$. Hell i could understand it if he had made it up to his bets being $1k a time and bookies not wanting to take his action so that he has to get other people to place the bets for him.
HAve you looked into the nigerian horse racing scene. I'm sure you'd make more money in that market.

We are looking for just one partner. My dad does not place his own bets because betting real money makes him nervous, he is scared to loose our money. We are looking for a partner who can help develop or use a software program to place bets in large offshore pools. We do not handicap in advance because the horses are played according to the odds that day. My mom has a twitter account where she tweets out my dad's selections daily. If interested let me know.

Sorry for using the poker forum for horse race handicapping purposes, but I know poker players have a lot of experience with betting and odds. My Dad needs a partner with these skills and/or business knowledge so that is why I am on this forum.

so you want people to bet on your dads tips , but he has so little confidence in his own ability that he doesn't bet on his own forecasts? If you are looking for a partner to move money into offshore pools , how do you know he wont just disappear with that money.
Not sure how the horse racing industry works in you country , but in the uk the odds are fluid and change up until the start of the race , and if you want to go online during the race as well. You'd need to take account of the change in the odds during the day as well otherwise the odds your dad is handicapping on may bear no relation to the odds available to the punter.
seems like you have a lot of thinkng to do before you'd even be ready to put this out in the market.

No our purpose is not to get people to bet on my Dad's tips, we were looking for one person to partner u[p with. He has extreme confidence in his picks, the reason he can't bet is he is too afraid to gamble with the family money and betting ends up messing up his handicapping. As far as somebody taking our money, that is a real fear. So we are trying to be honest in hope that we can find an equally honest partner.
The odds for horse racing odds are fluid here is a well and we monitor them and place the bets prior to the race. My mom usually place bets right before the race, like 0 minutes till post time. As well as placing the bets, we are looking for someone with software experience for when we havte to place put wagers in offshore polls.
I don't think your getting it. This goes one of several ways.
Guy with money partners with your dad.
Your dad would need to prove worth so he feeds said "punter" with some pics.
He runs hot and "punter" keeps all the money since you have no way of getting it from him
Your dad runs horrible for a short duration and you lose punters money and he bails before dad can get back to ROI.
You have no recourse to get your earnings and no proof that your dad can handle big money betting, since he can't even learn BRM and slowly build his ability to earn on his own.

Your dad's unwillingness to be aggressive and take his abilities he is so confident in is costing his family a much more lucrative lifestyle. Maybe he needs some balls and not a backer. He'd rather take a chance of someone running off with his share of a bankroll than to actually give his family what they deserve. He's willing to sit around and hone his addiction into a craft which I am sure the family has put up with for many years, but unwilling to allow them to reap rewards for their patience. My mom places the bets according to the our current bankroll. After each lost bet she increases the bankroll to cover the loss, and since my dad does not have long loosing streaks we earn the money back quickly.Quote:

I would just make dad unable to follow the bankroll and have mom run the finances and keep it separate. Set limits on withdraws, be more BRM conscious and fuck the need for help and keep 100% profits on this supposed ROIQuote:
