You can hate on Shakespeare all you want, but the fact is that his stories will be around much longer than yours or mine. This is not some chance occurrence. This is due to a deep resonance between Shakespeare's view of humanity and humans view of themselves.
Actually it's because if somebody wrote like Shakespeare, either in form or content, he couldn't even get published. Unless of course it was about zombies, but even TWD's characterizations and plotting are much more consistent and reasonable than Shakespeare'sQuote:
