Don't call turn (32% pot odds and 18% chance to hit a flush, it's not even close)

Fine with calling pre but definitely fold flop. Looks like fancy play syndrome

Pre is close.

Flop is a fold: utg range is strong given position and cbet sizing multi-way. Getting villains to hero fold overpairs in position at 10nl isn't happening when you essentially rep nothing (nobody at 10nl raises 9x or 66 here).

Turn as played: check/decide depending on sizing. Leading commits you unneccesarily when utg is never folding.

EZ fold pre since UTG was initial raiser. If it was ATS, then it would be EZ call. If it's MP or HJ decide based on reads and table dynamics.

fold flop. Chasing on paired boards is trouble more often than not.

fold turn. Same reasoning. Also, what daviddem said.

I would prefer a 3-bet over a call since we're out of position and your implied odds aren't that great considering both Villains are going to have somewhat wide ranges.

UTG doesn't mean strong range here. The opener is in the HJ seat.

i think this hand is played pretty badly except for preflop. i'd C/F flop and fold turn as played

Easy call pre for me.

Folding pre is completely ridiculous and awful. If you lose more than 50BB/100 playing this spot, you are seriously dreadful at poker! I doubt anyone reading this does.

I like leading flop with decent equity and good chance of picking it up. Don't like messing vs this c bet size 3 way on this board vs UTG open. If you do mess, it's too big as you aren't folding out overpairs so power min raise to target the weaker stuff, but yeah don't raise.

c/f turn to any bet you can't call, fold equity is extremely minimal to non existent.

Carroters could you explain the 50BB/100 reasoning? It's something that applies to more than this hand.

Not folding pre either.

If you fold pre here you loose 1bb or 0.5BB per hand, which is a winrate of -50BB/100 hands. If you call here all you need to have is a better winrate in this spot than that and I think you should find it hard to do worse than this at 10NL vs a HJ open 3 way with a hand that flops really well.

Thanks, it's important to remember in the BB that calling doesn't have to be +EV, just less -EV than folding :)

I think basically people are way too tight preflop in general without the initiative, especially from the blinds. You're going to need to ball oop when you move up and everyone's min opening/2.5xing your blind, so good to start by learning how to defend profitably vs 10NL morans!

Why would anyone fold this pre?

It is absolutely no such thing. You are out of position, you have a marginal hand that doesn't play very well multiway (especially oop), you don't have the lead and worst of all, you have absolutely no idea who you're playing against.

Folding is just fine and very likely the best alternative for most if not all 10nl players. Just look at how hard this particular hand was butchered. It's just awful from start to finish.

Think this hand flops really well 3 way, flopping a ton of good draws and good pairs that will be good very high amount of the time. Granted the latter will sometimes be dominated, but not vs a huge part of either of their ranges from these positions. It'll also be pretty easy not to loose too much 3 way here as most 10NL villains are going to play strightforwardly in these situations. I'd feel fine about calling a c-bet on Qxx/Jxx boards and folding to sizable turn bets pretty confident that my equity would be bad. In my experience it takes some really -EV decision making post flop to render preflop anything but profitable with these odds. Regarding the initiative, I don't think it's a big deal, there'll be loads of board where our hand flops back doors + overs at the very least and leading will be profitable for sure vs people who likely aren't fighting too hard for 3 way pots.

Of course if you really suck there's an argument for folding, but in long term EV you won't get better oop if we're not playing oop at all and analysing the spots.

FPS vs microunknowns is among the worst FPS of all the FPS.

Fold pre is absolutely the best if this is how postflop is gunna go, but if you're not a spazz I think we can call pre fine. Mandatory call if MP is a feesh.
