BVB: double barrel bluff rivers tpgk

At what point in this hand do you guys give it up? I'm assuming on the flop but my intention is to get villain to fold out all of his weak over cards and the queen seems like a good barrel card for me if he is drawing.

As played, are we inclined to barrel the river, chk/call or or do we hate the club coming off?

I probably don't cbet that flop, or continue on the turn as played. You just picked up showdown value on the river so c/x I think would be my option.

Flush got there. C/ decide. Flop is bad to cbet. Its very wet for BB range

I agree with Razvan, there's a lot of hands he can have sitting in the BB, especially as the raise comes form SB. Many players would just call with almost any hand there in the BB.

Flop cbet looks marginal but good. I'd like it more if you had a club or something, but even though its a very connected board its still not particularly likely to hit a BB calling range, which is pretty high card heavy.

One problem you'll run into cbetting here though (with your range, I mean) is that BB will get a wild hair up his ass thinking this IS a good board for his range and try to bluff raise a lot of stuff. He'll be way out of balance toward bluffing which is good when you have something, and pretty bad when you have KTo.

Turn is a LITTLE ambitious if you're bluffing all the way down to KTo, along with all the one card open enders and gutters and flush draws you'll want to be betting, and AK. That said I think its probably fine to triple barrel a very wide range on this board.

River looks like a good thin value bet as long as you are pretty sure BB will not bluff shove a lot of stuff (which he should, in which case it may be too thin to bet this). He's a lot more likely to have a crappy pair than a flush. The trouble with betting though is that you're counting on him to call with third pair or worse. I'd probably bet like 6.25.

Another clever river line would be to bet like 1.75 and snap any raise. Flushes aren't as likely for villain as you might think given BVB calling range consists mostly of offsuit cards, and the king is on board. NFD's and combo flush draws were probably likely to raise the flop.

Definitely agree with this. I think all too often we are told "wet flop is good for villain's range", but that's actually a mistake in some circumstances such as this one.

This is the one reason that prevents me from often betting this board bvb. A lot of players seem to want to dick-wave bvb and it's going to be difficult facing action on this board. We can easily get into a situation where villain knows I'm FOS, I know he's probably FOS but there's not a huge amount I can do with it other than go with my overpairs, strong draws, maybe AK, etc.

Pretty much the reason why I posted the hand. This would be a slam dunk triple barrel bluff spot for me on this run-out (which I'm unsure if that's okay), but turning a weak made hand threw me a little bit.
