Bloating pot with A/K Suited : 8/16 Deep Ante

Havent got alot of infomation on villain bar that he his fairly agressive and his range on the button or big blind is very wide as far as i can tell (Havent seen him fold his button or BB in around 6/7 orbits). A few hands ago i saw him check raise someone in postion then fold to a very small bet on river & also

Wierdly through-out all this hand i had a bad feeling and wanted to just C/C or flat call all the way but for some reason i decied to bump it up on the turn when the second diamond hit, dident want to let him runner runner me. My biggest downfall is the shove at the end, what else would he be shoving with? A smaller Ace ? Possible but unlikley . When i was in the hand it stank of boat beacuse i had bloated the pot i was sort of priced in. So yea one of the worst plays on my part any suggestions or advise would be helpfull .

It would definitely be difficult for someone like me (who's not a cash game specialist) to get away from this hand--especially considering your profile of Villain. Villain also has significantly shorter stack than Hero.

I'd be interested to read thoughts from more seasoned cash game pros on this hand to see how they would have played it differently. I do think that once you're committing to calling him down on the turn that you're likely to get it in on the river once your hand improves, so it would seem as if only chance to get away from the action is on the Turn.

I probably would have played it the same way you did (considering your read on Villain) and moan when he turned over a set, but I'm not the best person to give advice on a hand like this.

Unrelated: In the future, you might want to reword the initial action on each street as "Bet" rather than "Raise" so it is clearer.

I think that you played well, but you didn't have luck. If you only made a call on the turn on his first raise of $3, you would give him an opportunity to make flush like you said. Maybe his re-raise looks like he had very strong cards, but with another Ace on the river nobody will go fold. So for that reason I think that you played well this hand, and I, and many other players will played the same, if we were on your place.
