I'll mod, save you all policy lynching the shit out of me d1 for crushing it last game.

Let's see if we can get into double figures for this game... three wolves ideally.

I'm thinking Monday 8th Feb as start date, specific I know but I'll be afk for large parts of the first week of Feb. Plenty of time to see if we can get some numbers.

I'll try to be creative with what we have, but if the majority seem to want a fairly vanilla game, I'll keep it simple.

JK9++ is a cool format for 13 players . The link to C9++ on that page looks fun, too.
I probably wouldn't run one of them as-is, but there's plenty to think about as far as possible role combos that we haven't explored on FTR (or at least not recently).

Do what you want with this info. I've played JK9++ and I would again.

Most likely, it will be LYLO on D2.

Yes, I'm sorry to break this to everyone but there will be a minimum time requirement of one minute per day. Those who fail will struggle to keep up with the game and will probably get modkilled in the most brutal fashion.

Well that puts us down to 8, which is an awkward number.

If all else fails, I might have mojo as a mod confirmed d1 special who gets force nommed n1. Perhaps a seer selector... on n1, mojo chooses a one-shot seer to operate on n2, before being force nommed. Thoughts on this?

Obviously I'd prefer to have someone else sign up and keep things on d1 more regular, but an 8 player game is very hard to balance.

Thoughts on such a role, or other ideas for dealing with 8p welcome.

Yeah but it's one that's gauranteed to have a short life span, and is on the most useless day, so there's no onus on him to do anything but make his one night action as best as he can based on how much he can be bothered to read. That said, it's not ideal by any means.

I've asked my irl friend if he wants to play, he's played a game here before. He said he might, but if he hasn't joined us by the end of the weekend, then he probably can't be arsed.

The problem is that with the one less villager than a 9p format, the village finds itself at endgame a whole day earlier, with the added bonus for a lone wolf that he's hiding in a group of four, not three, come final day. An 8p game with 2 wolves is imba for the wolves, and with 1 wolf it's imba towards the village.

That setup is a breeding ground for paranoia. I like it!

In case it's not obvious, "nightless" means no night kill, wolves would need to lynch the two v/v pairs to win. But since the v/v pairs don't know they are v/v, a villager might find himself advocating his own lynch.

Ooh have a karma system!

Game 1 = real life. Being part of a villager lynch at eod nets bad karma, wolf lynch yields good.

When you die, you go to the after life and get a role based on karma.

Hrm, needs more thoughts. Neat start tho

You level up. Roles get shuffled each night, but if you lynched successfully then you leveled and get powers.

Maybe it's a series of several turbos? Day 1 = 3 turbos, results yield powers, day 2 = another 3 turbos, maybe different feel. Idk

I like this idea too tho

You could have the levels get silly too. Lvl 5 powers are like...they get to know the Id of the first lynch, then change it or something else broken
