You’ve recently started playing higher-stakes cash games with more regular players who are clearly incorporating solver-based strategies into their gameplay. You find yourself struggling to adjust, especially when facing complex spots like post-flop decisions with thin value bets or when to bluff. The players you face seem to always have balanced strategies, making it difficult to find exploitable tendencies.

How do you adjust your play to counter opponents who are highly skilled with GTO strategies and solvers?
How can you incorporate more nuanced exploitative plays without deviating too far from a balanced approach?
What adjustments would you make when facing players who constantly adjust their ranges based on solvers?
How do you analyze and learn from hands where you felt “outplayed” by a solver-based strategy?

This feels like asking “How do you play poker?”

Any reasonable poker advice at least partially addresses this question and yet nothing could ever fully address it.

I guess if I had to address it as succinctly as possible it would be “Get better,” but I guess that’s not very helpful.
