That was the tourney winner and the reason that guy lost.. If he would have raised me harder, he would have folded me out and had a better chance of winning the tourney.
Yeah but that doesnt happen often. He should have gotten scared when the board paired, and when you bet from the other 6 I think he should have raised or folded, depending on how you played before that. I'm not very good though, so maybe im wrong.
I'd say he played them right just got unlucky, he was trying to trap you, and probably didnt believe you had a 6. Congrats on the win though :)
I have a similiar scenary which occurred last night on a SnG on UB. There were 5 of us left and I was in the BB. 2 callers, I check. I'm holding 63o. No way I would have called a bet pre-flop. Flop comes 863o rags. I bet, one CALLS, one folds. Turn is a J. I check, he bets, I call. River is Q. I check, he bets, I call. Anyways, he shows AA and loses to my 63o. I bet next time he'll raise pre-flop rather than trying a trap. Cost him quite a chunk.

True Story. This happened to a friend of mine in a tourney.
She was delt AA, she called the big blind and tried to slow play it. She raised after the flop and had a caller with an outside straight draw from his rags. She ended up losing a lot to the other persons straight.
Later in the same tournament, she was delt KK, raised pre flop and everyone else folded.
Later still, AA again, raised the minimum raise pre-flop and everyone folded.
She was obviously very frusterated, anything she did would crap out for her.
This is when I told her the crappy part of holdem. There are a million different rules in texas holdem. 1/2 of them contradict the other half.
I see your questioning for this. In tourneys heads up I usually play so loose, it seems any pair on the board is good. He was also doing alot of raising to fold me out after the flop, so I figured he had nothing. He should have raised PRE-FLOP to fold me out but he didnt!Quote:
