Hand 1 - Have a feeling you're behind 2 pair right now, so it's a good laydown.

Hand 2 - I'm probably more apt to call this if I don't know the player well yet, but you probably had some more time to get a decent read. Has the scent of the PartyPoker "AKs all-in" (TM).

Hand 3 - You've got me.

Hand 1, who knows. It kind of looks like another AK or AQ to me, as he easily could just be backing up his preflop raise with a bet on the flop once rags hit. You'd have a lot more information if you re-raised preflop. As is, he could have any hand worth raising preflop.

Hand 2, you may have pot odds to call this one, but this one really depends more on the player. If he's really tight, you can pin him on AA or KK. If not, he could have AK, QQ, JJ, maybe TT. I'd call / reraise without a read on him, partly because he's a small stack, and its just about 3x what you already put in to call his all in.

Hand 3: 87?

Hand 1:
This hand plays a lot easier if I re-raise pre-flop to isolate the original raiser. He'll raise AJ/KQish hands like that in better postion, but I'm not sure about UTG+1. Also with so many to act behind me I'm not liking my hand even more. However, my hand is too good not to at least call. On the flop, raising a missed Big Slick into 3 other players with one yet to act on a blank flop is pretty marginal. Also, I had already taken a couple small pots from him by raising.

If I'm likely to get all-in heads-up I call. However, UTG's cold call + tall stack concerns me.

SB completes without a raise I think he could be holding a lot of junk hands, which makes it hard to place him on one.

I'll take a guess that you won this one but wouldn't be surprised to see 2 pair.

Unfortunate river card. Don't think you can throw the hand away at that point, but there wasn't much information gained from all the calls before that to tell.

SBs bet on the flop could be a weak steal attempt, or a value bet to get Fnord to play. Since Fnord didn't raise from the BB, we don't know anything about what this guy might have. He might have JT, or a draw, or nothing at all. With only 9 outs (12 if you count the A) were you thinking your A was good, or were you playing implied odds?

The turn card could help SB several ways. He might have made two pair. He also might have a made hand or he now has a good draw with a 9 or two hearts in the hole. He also might have A higher kicker. Or just top or middle pair. No way to tell, especially since he's coming from the SB.

You're still not getting odds to call the turn bet. ($6 pot, $3 to call). To call you've got to be thinking implied odds, which means you believe he has a good enough hand to pay you off if the spade hits, or that your Ace is good. Otherwise, you're chasing. I fold at this point, unless something he's done previously thinks he'll call a huge bet if I hit my flush. A raise would be better than a call, but you've got to go over the top enough to make his draw unprofitable. If you think you gotta make a flush to win you're not getting very good odds on that raise, and for the $1.50 you've got in the pot.

The river is either a great card for you, or the worst one possible. I don't think there's any way you can lay down at this point, even with the weak kicker. Raising would be foolish, so calling is the only answer.

H1, I'd have re-raised to isolate UTG+1 and let everyone else know you have a strong hand.. You have position on him, if you have other callers after you then step lightly on the missed flop. He bet out of position on the flop so I'd put him on pocket Js -> Ks

H2, The more I play poker, the more I feel comfortable with laying down the Qs when it comes to an All in preflop.

H3, Id have to be thinking he has Top pair better kicker or Flush draw.

H4, hmm I'm going to say he hit his outside strt with Q9

I looked at H3 again too, I'm leaning more towards trips. Two pair he would have bet, he is slowplaying, but flush draw is a possiblity still.

H1: You played it just as I would have. I HATE re-raising with AK unless it's a push AI. That's just me. You've got position, but you don't have anything yet. See the flop. He bets, you fold. Seems simple enough. Raise the flop and see what happens if you think he's aggressive enough for a steal here with something like AQ/AJ/KQ. I'm folding though.

H2: I'd call. It's tough to lay down QQ at Party Poker pre-flop to anybody who's not a proven rock.

H3: I'd slow down once your pot sized bet is called on the flop. I smell a better kicker, or two pair. Maybe not though. Maybe a weaker kicker or second pair, who knows. I'd slow down after the turn.

H4: He's making pot sized bets. Seems like you are chasing against the odds here. I'd fold the flop, or do the all-in nut flush draw semi-bluff. When that river ace comes, it's hard not to call his river bet. It's a crying call, but you have to make it. Why SHOULD he fear the ace if he has top pair? There's a lot of hands you could have besides Axs. He almost seems a bit too determined to show he's not afraid of the ace with the pot sized bet vs. a smaller river value bet. You might just have him. I'd call, but of course it's likely he's got JT or AJ or maybe even AT. I'm hoping it's KJ.

Edit: Whoops, I didn't notice that he check/called you on H3 (vs. a flat call). I feel better about your chances now even though your kicker isn't great. He's probably on a busted draw, or he's got a monster (less likely). You played this one perfectly. No need for a river bet, your hand beats a busted draw (who won't be calling it anyways) and a better hand will call/raise you.

The fact that he's betting into you with pot sized bets narrows it down a little, don't you think? I'm sure your point is that any rag 2 pair hand is possible as is any top pair/rag kicker combo, and point well taken.

Hand 2: UTG+1 has KK, UTG has Ace-rag suited. UTG calls and takes it down with a flush.

Hand 3: SB has Ace-rag of hearts. Missed his draw.

Hand 4: SB has T2 and wins with 2 pair.
