Feeling uneasy at the tables after 7 nonplaying days
7days after the big bout with my fiancee (thanks toasty for the correction  ), i'm finally back playing poker. The fight started cause i used to pretend to sleep and get caught sneaking out of the bed or playing poker at early am hours. A week break from poker really patched things up. My girl's sleeping like a baby as i'm typing this.
Lost five straight $10 SnGs puhehe  .
7days ain't really a long time.. but i did feel quite uneasy at the tables. Up until last week, i was on a mad rush playing SnGs and some ring games. Cashed out $1500 in total before the fight, i wish i can blame the fight for my losess, but i know i played like a moron.
Low stakes SnGs seem to be real nice games to build your bankroll slowly, but i think it's important to play them without long breaks because you lose your edge after some time.
I got back playing limit ring games too today and luckly made up for my losses. I saw Fnord's total winnings (for limit ring games) the other day. I change my mind, ring games are definitely more profitable than SnGs. The other day at twoplustwo, i read a thread about this guy making some $10000 in three days playing limit ring games. Everyone believed him and everyone seemed to know him. I actually found a better limit player than Fnord. Impressive. This is getting nowhere, sorry dudes. I just wanted to drop by and say hi, celebrate my comeback on my own. WTF... i ain't drunk guys...

I'd think that's much better than sneaking off with another woman 8-)
Anyways, don't sweat your uneasiness, you'll get your groove back soon enough after you settle back into your usual strategy and start raking pots your way again
BTW - did the $1500 withdrawl not help out your case in the argument? I would think the first sign she said something, you say " Look Hun, here's a little piece of my earnings" and she would be thinking of a nice dinner, ect to waste it on ;)
:D
