Would it be possible to install something such as this Printer Friendly Mod?

Loads of the strategies listed make great reading on the tube home and it'll be geat to have them in an easy to print format.

Why not just copy and paste it on word?

Topics like Soupie's MTT strategy have tons of posts, not really very easy to copy past that.

I did that with the ones I printed out last, and had no defense to my laziness until I saw what xbones had written so...yeah...what he said!

If you are intending to keep subSilver as an optional user theme then it'll be great - otherwise it will not be difficult to add to other themes with a bit of php knowhow - the hardest part being the image that will need to be created to suit the new theme(s).
