Rate this hand.

While reviewing my PT, I am seeing alot of really bad plays. This one though, I am not sure about. Any feedback is appreciated.

I think you played it fine based on the starting hand since you had several outs. Some people wont' play that hand (unless they are checking a blind) for the reason you lost.

You start off the hand with low cards and hope nobody gets overcards. Then you catch one pair and a possible flush draw. So, you are forced to play strong so you can win the hand before somebody capitalizes on the Jack. Then you catch the second pair and you think you have it since he never reraised before. The Jack does come back to haunt you in the end. Even if you pulled the flush, you have to worry about a higher flush.

I don't play that hand unless I am calling the blind. I used to with varying success but people on here convinced me not to and I've improved my winnings since then. I was playing some other borderline hands as well, like A2o, so it's not just the low connected suits.

I especially like the river. I hope it wasn't a missed opportunity at a check-raise though.

Your play looks fine here. Slightly loose preflop call but you made up for it.

I don't really think that raising on the flop is the right thing to do, personally. You can't imagine you have the best hand at that point, and you're very likely to get called, possibly even by a better flush draw. Why not just call and try to improve, and if you make your flush or some other draw, try to see an inexpensive showdown?

My origional call was loose. I was looking at several people in the pot and I thought that the implied odds would make it worth it to limp in.

On the Turn, I felt my flush would be good it if hit. I thought this because If someone had the AKc, AQc or KQc they would have raised PF. And Txc would be worried about an A high flush. KTc and ATc were the only two hands that I was worried about for the flush. My logic may or may not be strong here. I also felt that I had two 5's and three 6's that were good. I did not think my 5's were the best hand on the flop but I didn't want to call because then I would have no Idea if someone had the Jack. It was a bet for information as much as a semi-bluff drawing to 14 outs to improve.

When the 6d came on the Turn, I thought that Jrb32 had the Jack and would not see the 6 as a threat. I thought I would take the pot down right there.

Then the River came 2d. At that point, I thought that he was very secure in his hand calling my large raise and there was a possible str8 and a Diamond Flush on the board. So I backed down.

I am sharing my thought process, for critique as well. Was my thinking in line for this hand?

Your preflop call may have been your best play on this hand. You've got a hand where you know what you're looking for to win the pot and you've got it multiways (two limpers infront and you can almost guarentee SB and BB are going to play) and you have good position.

Thank you all for your feedback. Looks like I was at least in the ballpark on this hand. I have been getting familiar with Poker Tracker and am amazed at how loose my play becomes after sitting at a table for a while. I am not nearly as patient as I thought I was. Group 6 and 6 from early postition have been kicking my A$$.

I think I am going to try some SitNGo's next.

I´d say 65s is a lot better hand than A2o. 65s rarely gets expensive. A2o often does. What do you look for on the flop with A2o? An ace? Outkicked. 345? Doesn´t happen too often. Four to a flush? Seldom happens. Two pair? Gotta watch out for sets and higher two pairs. A2o is a rag. 65s has some potential.
