Nah. I gotta bet this until I get raised. Unfortunately, you got raised for the most a guy can be raised. I still suspect AQ or something, so I'd call this. Sucks to have a hand like this versus someone who has you so badly outstacked. If you both had $120 and he did this, I'd suspect a set making a bet that he really wanted you to call.

I agree, no way I would have checked the turn on this one. Would you fold if they showed some aggression? I would call this. You would be put all in on the river if he had called the turn bet anyways.

Wow that one is really tough, if he has something, it's probably a set but he could be overvalueing TPTK.

Nothing you can do differently to change the outcome. Preflop was good, you got it heads up. Maybe could bet more on flop to really make the heart draw pay. Turn is fine bet. I like the re-raise AI there. Either you are crushed or he is making a play to try to steal the pot with his chip leverage. You have a great hand. If he made a baby set you are dead but those are just the breaks. I discount a set of QQ or JJ b/c he played preflop really weak so he is really lucky if that is the case.

I put him on QJh maybe. That J made him 2 pair but I don't lay down the kings.

Set. Thats probably how he got his stack built. I doubt hes on AQ, his turn play was a raise, not a noob fish goin allin with an $8 stack so Im sure he has one pair beat.

Not sure I could lay that down. The turn reraise would make me pause though. You've shown aggression the entire hand and he reraises your big turn pot bet? Smells like you're beat. Maybe he tripped the jacks. I would guess he hit a set though AhQh, QJ, or AhKh are also possibilities.

If he's shown skills, I'm at least considering a turn laydown on the reraise. With no read or a "fish" read, I call.

Anthony500 shows [ Qh, Jh ] two pairs, queens and jacks. So he got 2 pair :(

If I would have had a read that the guy was a solid player a laydown would definitely have been a possiblity, but... well, no can do. The guy had TPGK and a flush draw so it was a good call on his part on flop. If I would have checked the turn and he would bet, I would be compelled to call anyway. I dont think there was anything I could have done differently, except folding the re-raise. After the flop call I put him on AQ though I did think of AA and JJ and trips too. but again too tough a fold to me.

One thing is for sure, I really have to start paying attention to reading opponents, I am normally doing everything but observing the table while playing.. :|

I find I get too attached to QJ suited. What does everyone think of his call of a 5.5xBB raise pre-flop? Too loose or smart call?

I think that's a bit loose. That's a hand I'm letting go of more and more if I have to call more than 2x or in EP
