I play more by feel when I play HU, so my raising standards vary depending on who I am playing. I have a more dustin woolfe style (neverwin) after watching him play for a while, I think that hyperaggression wins in heads up. I have been highly successful so far as long as the player sticks around long enough. I also think reading board texture is key to making call downs with weak hands. I love playing HU and now that I found the stars 02/04 with no rake, me and a few friends play there and make the stakes higher ie. .02= 1 dollar .04=2 and play and make transfers when we are done. The rake kills you even at UB if you dont play 5/10 or higher.
Very cool...couple thoughts:Quote:

- Basically, as I see it, you are raising almost 70% of time from the SB to steal enough to make up for crappy position.
The one puzzling part is that I cannot help wondering if a slightly less aggressive approach from the SB (slightly more folds than outlined here), would even the EV a bit, based on the EV he computed on the end for the BB. I would think that if the BB plays back at the SB effectively, position advantage can overwhelm hyper-raising SB....
Thoughts?
No its not, its HU poker.Quote:
