i'm tired of jacking up a raise and everyone folding on these hands.. i'm thinking of just putting in a min raise or something ... it really sucks when this happens 3-4 times in a row..

It all depends on table texture.
Maybe on a VERY tight table I would minraise AA/KK but ONLY in good position and if it's folded to me.
Traditionally, you want to raise it up 3-4xBB (more on a loose table) and if everyone folds, sucks to be you :P. Eventually you will get paid off if you are on a nice, fishy table.
At least getting the blinds is better than getting it cracked for your whole stack ;)
If you minraise then you let them suck you out
Of course, that is why I must re-iterrate that I do this VERY VERY RARELY. Only on uber tight tables would I do this and only in good position whn everybody folds to me. Taking the risk of them sucking out on you is a risk you have to take to build a decent sized pot on the very tight tables.Quote:

If you just pick up the blinds, you didn't get a lot of value. If you got blinds + limpers or got a raiser to laydown it's a pretty good pick-up.
This is why I limp AA/KK and sometimes AK UTGish quite a bit in aggro cash games
My solution when people are folding to your preflop raises (assuming all are of standard size, within the bounds of what I've mentioned before): raise more. If it happens two or three times, wait 3 hands and then if the pot is limped to you, raise no matter what your cards are. If they all fold, show. Late position helps to ensure they're going to fold, but it's not vital for this to work. You will start getting action after the whole table sees you raising with 72o and then rubbing their face in it when they all fold. Once this starts happening TIGHTEN UP again.
