Why would you steal?

first off, forgive me if this becomes a rant.......just really frustrated that somebody would stoop so low as to do this.

last night, i visited few of my good buddies at their apartment located on a college campus. it was a bright sunny afternoon, so i rolled down the windows during the car ride there. i play games all over campus alot, so i keep my case of chips in the backseat of my car for convience. after parking in the student parking deck, i rolled up the windows and locked the door.

this morning, i go to my car to head back home......and while i wander past the left back door, i notice that the window is down about 5-7". apparently, i didn't realize that the back window wasn't all the way rolled up before i locked and left my car. i open the door and realized that somebody had reached down through the cracked window, unlocked my car, and taken my case of chips.

this is the first time i've ever had anything of value stolen from me. its a truely strange feeling. unlike what most would expect, i'm actually not very mad that the chips are "gone" but rather at *WHY* somebody would stoop so low as to steal another person's belongings. the chip set was actually a 500 tri color composite clay set with case as well as two Kem decks totaling at roughly $100.

the funny thing is, when i asked myself a simple question - would you rather have the chips back or know who stole it? i choose to never get the chips back, but know who stole it. i am so angry that somebody would stoop so low to go snuffing around in somebody else's car, that i would be willing to pay $100 to beat the crap out of him.

to be perfectly honest ....i hope he enjoys the chips, i hope he enjoys the satisfaction of taking another person's belongings, and i hope he enjoys the frolocking flames of hell.

Wouldn't it be funny to be invited to a game by some dude, only to find he's using your chips?

I think you just might get your wish provided the scumbag who took them doesn't know you.

that would make my day. :twisted: i've actually called up all of my boys that i play with around campus. everybody will be keeping a lookout for the next few days.

he better pray that he doesn't accidently invite one of them to his game....because i'll have to drive him to the hospital after they're done with him.

Damn man, that sucks. I hope you find out who stole your chips, and I hope you treat them real nice like.

It sucks to get robbed. Like you said, the feeling is just....weird. Somebody invaded your personal space and took stuff from you. It just ain' right.

I posted on here a few months ago that my house got robbed. Some focker stole my PS2, games, DVDs, and a ton of my GF's jewelry. A total of $3500 worth of stuff. Lucky for us we had insurance and were able to get about $3300 in return, but it still pissed me off.

yeah shit like that has always pissed me off - once a dude drove by and smashed out my side window in my car - another time they broke into my garage and ripped out my cd player out of my car and then left the mofo on the seat and stole my brothers trick bike - then once I was at a party at one of my best friends apartments and this asshole tried getting away with stealing a bunch of CDs and it was about 2 seconds from getting really really bad and the dude went out with a fucking baseball bat and my friend followed with his .40 H&K USP that I didnt even know he had on em and of course everyone was drinkin. Could have gotten real bad real fast all cause mofo tried stealin his CDs. Keep ur hands to urselfs boys and girls

Stealing is such a low lif ething to do, to have self gradification about stealing someone stuff is sickening. I have only have one thing solen from me before.

Thats actually what got us into H&K weapons to begin with. The one in CS is a tactical though and is a .45 with a threaded barrel (for silencers). Thats the one I was plannin on buyin but its about 1000 compared to the 400-500 u can get a .40 basic USP for. Between the 2 of us we have lots of guns. I actually went shootin today. Between the 2 of us I think we have probably 13-15 guns somewhere.

This is my next purchase that my bro wants to split with me. He wants to get a desert eagle too but we are getting this first.

When I am rich I am buying this one - its a 376 steyr scout big bore (also from CS though its a variation because if it had this one it would take the place of the AWP) and if I ever go rhino or grizzly hunting this is what I am taking. The bullets cost like $1.25 a piece cause they are basically custom shit hornady makes cause thats about the only gun that shoots em. Nothin like CS turning u into a gun junky.

Just curious... Boon et al do you guys still play CS? I dont even want to think about how many hours I put in on that game. Now my son is video game crazy and there is no way I could play. The wife would have a fit. All my spare time (about 15 min a day) now is for poker dont have time for the vids. Have you guys ever played Battlefield 1942? That is a kick ass game. Boon you should check out the mod version of BF Desert Combat. They have the 50 cal. Barrett (sp?) sniper rifle which is fun taking out jeeps with.

this situation sucks.... but if these really were clay chips as you said (i doubt it for that price) you shouldnt leave them in your car anyways..heat will damage them... just letting you know in case you buy another set

Yeah actually I was playing CS source last night on this crazy zombie mod they have where the CTs respawn forever and its like 2-3 Ts v 25 forever respawn zombies. You can get up to like 500+ kills in a map. Very very very phat it gets so freakin crazy u run into the fray with a machine gun and they totally surround u and u mow em all down - yeah the zombies can only use the knife. Even with that they still kill you all the time.

And yeah we used to play Battlefield at lan parties. I was always the dude jumping in planes and droppin bombs on everyone. I perfected the aerial assault in that game.

The main gun place by my house has one of the barret 50 cal single shots. The semi autos are like 8,000 bucks but i've seen em shot on TV. I like shooting watermelons with desert eagles. Its like there was a stick a dynamite in it or something. I wish 50 cal bullets werent so freakin expensive. The sniper rifle 50 cals are like a few bucks a piece and look like they could shoot through about anything known to man.

Boon do like CS source? The last time I played they were using something else I dont remember what. Funny thing.... I bought a mac daddy dell system to play vids on (21 inch flat screen; 128M vid card; 1M RAM etc etc..) Now all do is play poker on it. I also wanted to play HL 2 on it. Havnt even bought the game yet. Sad. Does HL 2 come with source? Have you played HL2 and is it any good?

yeah half life 2 comes with source - half life 2 is also very phat - and I LUVVVVVVVV CS SOURCE -

ah, no, they're not real clay chips. they're the composite clay chips made from "pressed clay" (basically fancy plastic :wink: )

still on the lookout for the culprit....but no luck at the moment. probably will just end up buying another set :roll:

my brother went to a professor's house in chapel hill - was in a nice neighborhood - got two tires slashed, and he left his window cracked like an inch and they jammed it down to open the door. they looked through his backpack in his car, in which he had like weight lifting gloves and a water bottle, didn't take anything, then left. his window wouldn't stay up anymore so he ended up epoxying the thing shut. yah.. my brothers freind has a mp5, but its some variation of it, and my brother had a tec9 but it jammed and he got rid of it, that thing was fun as fuck to shoot. I dont know guns that well, but my brother and his freinds are gun NUTS. When I start raking in the money big time, Ill start off my arsenal. I think a dirty harry style 357 magnum will be my fisrt purchase though. Those things are fucking bad ass!

Phat - the friend I will probably move to vegas with when it gets cold here again just got one of those given to him by his dad. He was like "now that you're on your own son, this is yours" or something to that effect. I always wanted a 6 shooter to play around with because they aren't really expensive at all of I have just never got around to buying one.

Reminds me of a great quote from The Boondock Saints when Rocco was going to run into the hotel where the mobsters were meeting - with a 6 shooter. Of course the BDSs already killed em all but he didnt know that.

last night, i get a call from a brother of mine. apparently, he overheard 2 guys talking about playing with their "new" chips while he was at the gym. one thing led to another, and he asked them if he could come play as well.

he goes to this kid's apartment, and he sees my chip case (he knows its mine because there's this dent on the right corner where a keg was dropped on it.....long story...). he immediate calls the house to tell me.

what happened next....was similar to a movie ending.

we all arrive....and start questioning him. he feeds us some bullcrap about how "i bought those chips off ebay" (ya right...that's MY case, MY kem cards, right...). i don't quite remember the exact details, but a punch was thrown and madness broke out.

it was like 6 of my boys on 3 guys (ya....not very fair..but who cares. shouldn't have been stealing from other people)

the adrenaline and testosterone was flowing too much to replay exactly what happened....but long story short - the kid's apartment is completely trashed. one of his friend has a broken nose. other one got a tooth knocked out. and the little rat himself got beat into a bloody pulp.

i hope he learned his lesson.
