Dwarfman's Tournament Videos (FREE FOR EVERYONE!)

Howdy partners.

Just to inform you that I now have a site where I can upload videos of my tournament poker play, with running commentary on what I am thinking, why I am doing what I am doing and so on.

I will include MTTs, SnGs (different types) and HU Matches. All NLHE.

There is currently one hour of an MTT, one turbo SnG and one HU match uploaded.

To view the videos, you will need the TSCC codec which can be downloaded by clicking HERE.

Click 'Fastest HTTP' to download, it's only 170kb, so it won't clutter your computer.

After downloading simply open up the file to install it and then you are away!

cant see the video, only the audio. Im even using VLC player, which plays ANYTHING!!!! But i guess not this.

do you think you post the camtasia how to? I have it all up and ready. The files are ridiculously small for how long they are. very very goot compression.

Don't get mad but I'm redirecting your customers, dman.

Advantages: not only dwarfman, but everyone else will be allowed to make/distribute as many videos as they want, without stressing out my websites.

Disadvantages: you have to spend a few minutes figuring out bittorrent. That's alright; bittorrent is the wave of the future, and some of you have it figured out already. Help the noobs, please. (e.g. me)

don't know if it's just me but the torrent didn't work. I'm using bit tornado and got "problem connecting to tracker -<urlopen error no host given>

I think you need to go to www.bittorrent.com/ to be able to download the videos, I am still figuring out this torrent malarky myself.

I'll post more on how to get them once I figure it out myself!

The most popular client nowadays is Azureus:

Like I said, I don't know much about how to make sure the trackers are intact, etc. But Someone successfully made a copy from me earlier today, so it definitely works.

the idea, of course, is that once everyone's hooked up it'll be a lot of work to watch hundred of videos. if you want

dman, if you have azureus installed you just go to "Make Torrent" then select the .avi file. Azureus stores all the necessary info in its /torrents/ directory.

Then you add that torrent at a4fs.net/bt -- with the "Upload a file" link.

When I get the nuts & bolts down we can sticky up a little step-by-step guide.

ive downloaded them but i cant play them, ive got quicktime, windows media, VLC player, none of them will play any of the videos. Does anybody know what plays .avi files? maybe realplayer?
