small house - 2 callers on turn-how do you play it?

0.25/0.5$ NL 10 player

You hold 4:heart:4:spade: and call an early position raise for 1.5$ along with 3 other callers.

Flop comes 4:diamond:5:diamond:6:club:
You bet 5$ and get 2 callers.
Turn brings 5:heart: making you a nice little house.

Read on oponents: ok average players that usually show something when involved, not stupid, not brilliant, one pretty loose with 20$ left, one pretty tight with 44$ left. You have 65$ left. Based on earlier hands you are pretty sure they don't play on a straight here, but a flush chase is possible.

Question:
How do you play it from here :?: Try to milk it, or bet to take it down?

So, at least 4.5 in pot pf. Flop means $5 x3=15 + 4.5 = $20. What I did here would depend on my position. If I were UTG I would check and try to trap. If the turn were checked to me I would bet $10 to try and suck some more from them.

I'm open to critisism on this one.

if you suspect a flush draw, put out the same bet on the turn, and river and hope the diamond falls so you can push all in when reraised.

i limp with this hand preflop.. narrowing the field with a small pair is not that great of an idea.

I play depending on position, UTG you check, late position you have to bet. If this is a live game, I MAY check it through

Your preflop raiser has something like AK or AQ, and the other guy might have a draw.

Your read here has to be that your opponents are not drawing to a better full house. That's because the flop came out 6 high. If someone had the 6 here they would raise or fold on the flop. If someone had 56 they would raise real hard.

The only thing you have to be worried about is a high pocket pair spiking a set. Neither of these guys have that. The guy with a high pocket pair would re-raise your $5. You overbet the flop like you hit the 6 rag and don't want overs chasing. That's why I don't put either of them on that high pocket pair. Your never going to buy this pot if someone has a high pocket pair. Your going to get called all-in. Trust me, they don't have it. The board is too scary to smooth call $5 with a high pocket pair.

Given all of that, this is NOT a good time to slowplay by checking. It has nothing to do with you getting drawn out either. It has to do with the high likelyhood that one of these opponents will call an additional bet. This is a good time to act weak and bet just $5 again. Don't buy the pot. Just bet enough where they want to see that river.

This is a perfect example of where you take advantage of pot committment. Your two opponents are leveraging themselves against each other by calling $5. They have committed each other, and will stay in for additional like bets. You should bet $5 again. It look like YOU are drawing now, and at least one of them will call or even go over the top sensing weakness.

$5 is the correct turn bet in this situation.

There is no benefit to dropping the hammer on a re-raise. Based on your reads, your not going to get any more money out of them by doing that. They simply have nothing to call you with.

You hesitantly call the re-raise, and hope for a complete blank on the river, or even better they make their hand. You can then act like your draw failed, and check over. THIS is when you slowplay. It's beautiful, because you know they have nothing. They were bluffing against your weakness on the turn, and now they will try to buy the pot again.

Smooth calling a turn bluff raise makes you look unimproved with two draws on the board. Your basically not getting any more chips here unless you allow them to bluff you again by acting weak.

I just wanted to add one thing. If the turn raise is from someone holding something like Q5, the chip exchange will not play out differently no matter how you play it because if you drop the hammer he's calling. If you check over on the river he's raising. Your getting chips either way.

I thought the pot was already quite nice, so I bet 15$ hoping for the small stack to go all in giving me a chance to reraise again for the second stack.
