The blackest white guy in the world

I'd gladly have suffered through 80s music as an adult to be around for the 1970's and a show like this:
Black Sabbath - Children of the Grave - YouTube
Nice KoRn! I was born in '70 so obv I was too young for real Sabbath. But I got to see Ozzy with Randy Rhoads at a fest like that in the '80s. Was none less awesome.
Reignwolf is THE amazing! All of you rock/blues/guitar fans NEED to listen to this.
Woo hoo! Going to see Reignwolf again in November.
Looking up the opening bands, I found another that I really like:
This guy is good!
Haven't heard proper gangster rap in a while, this comes close
Mercy (Explicit) - YouTube
Pass it to da leff, ya kno da drill
Sterling Simms ft Meek Mill - Tell Her Again Vs Barrington Levy - Murderer - YouTube
Heard of Logic through a friend a while back. Downloaded his mixtapes and love this guy's music. The kid is ridiculous.
If you listen to hip-hop do your iTunes a service and get some Logic on there.
Don't know how it took me so long to hear of Eric Johnson but one of the better guitar players I've heard. Listened to "Cliffs of Dover" repeatedly over the last few weeks. It's hypnotizing.
Not sure if posted but wow,
It Might Get Loud on Vimeo
Guns N' Roses- Knockin' On Heaven's Door
I have a new found respect for Jack White, I think he's an unrecognized genius after seeing that. And yes on Edge
and you're supposed to get your sound to teh maximum \m/
I miss 90s rock music. Guns n roses and korn made such an impression on me as a teen that I still have regular sessions of listening to both of them, generally drunk, which I love.
Balkan music is just the best.
if we ever meet irl then ask me about my michelle
also, my gf likes too much music on this list:

she's still awesome though
vaguely reminds me of some fucked up art-music thing i went to in santiago de chile
except there aren't any hymens being surgically reconstructed live on a stage here....
also, last week i hung out with some of the band and got the inside word on how/why my favourite live act of 2010 ended up disbanding. Shame.
here's to some of their stuff that is in a legal wasteland, and will never be seen live.

at least they got a decent payday with

Met this guy in a DC airport a while back. Definitely some feel good music, he's been getting a good bit of play in my iTunes recently.
My birthday music. I fucking love acid techno.
Today's your birthday Ong? if so, happy happy joy joy!
Thanks Jack!
You're 4 days before me ong. Happy birthday.
Serpent Sermon - Marduk

Jazz and hip-hop combined is awesome. YouTube jazzmatazz, great stuff.
Opeth - Reverie/Harlequin Forest

Return of the Daft
Wow, Josh Eustis of Telefon TelAviv is touring with them, and they're keeping Cortini and, obviously, Reznor himself. Sure is leaving a lot of wiggle room for having a lot of electronic layering.
Mostly country songs for me. Loads of Sugarland, Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, etc etc.
Oskar, You will be writing a report from me on this zen-funk business and this Nik Bartsch fellow. Thank you.

Jackvance sent me on a nostalgia trip:
I was at their cd presentation at a music store in 97 with about 30 other people where I stole the record. That they have 80k youtube hits blows my mind.
"I don't really care, but this is not how I want it"
... which curiously enough reflects my feelings about ebretta's contribution.
I had this song on one of a couple of 150min. tapes I took to england sometime in the 90's. I was walking aimlessly around a small fisher town near Dover, listening to my walkman, thinking about a girl back home and this song cut in just when I walked past a sidestreet that gave way of the sun setting over the ocean. Can't get it out of my head ever since. Do I care that it's just a shitty song to you? Not one bit!
Hmmm ... no fat people in the 70's? My how have times changed
plus I really really want a soul train birthday party at some point
Absolutely fantastic album, youtube quality ruins it though ldo.

Oh good, another band to get confused with Deerhunter and Deerhoof. Are fabricated compound words with words that begin with "D" and "H" like the golden ratio of band naming or some shit?
The BBC Sessions version "Haunted by a Freak" is one of my favorite live performances. I mean, it's not particularly different from the Happy Songs version and it's not any sort of particularly elaborate composition, but I don't know, I just can't get enough of it.
The more I listen to daft Punk's "Lose Yourself to Dance" the more awesome it becomes.
Modern classic anyone?
Great song in my teen years - just remembered it the other day...
Bootsauce - Touching cloth

Any metalheads here? What's your honest opinion of this? The drummer is the little brother of a good friend of mine, so I'm excited for them, but as someone who doesn't listen to much metal it all sounds the same to me.

haha, I just wrote a post saying it was pretty crap and realised I wasn't even listening to the right thing  (website isn't loading properly in my defence)
Band name is awful and music is uninspiring. Maybe it's not just my thing though.
You should listen to Agalloch if you haven't already. I'd suggest "The Mantle", from what I've heard though they're all meant to be pretty good but I haven't listened to them.
I'm currently listening to tons of Walk Off the Earth. They have a bunch of covers and originals on the youtubes.
Walk Off the Earth - Red Hands
Aubrey got me listening to this now.
Heifetz-Beethoven Romance No. 2 in F Major (Op. 50)
It's one of the few pieces that can bring me to tears w/o lyrics.
I had to google the Fox schedule. Is the show called New Girl, with Zooey Deschanel?
If so, it looks like season 1 is on Netflix, so I'll watch the first couple episodes to see if I like it.
EDIT: I've watched the pilot, and I'm starting the 2nd episode. I can't see the connection between this show and Walk Off the Earth, though.
You actually suggested Glee to me? Glee?! AYFKM?
My respect for you just dropped like a brick.
I am fucking kidding you.
I am a fucking kid, you?
I am kid fucking you.
You fuck kids, am I?
I am kids fucking you.
Are you kidding/fucking me?
I am willing to bet, though, that like 60%+ of the people who've watched that YouTube video are Glee fans or people who would enjoy Glee if they weren't too concerned with losing their dignity.
