Really the only bit I paid much attention to in the wiki article was that he's the guy who painted things exactly that already exist. Like Campbell's soup, news story pictures, celebrities, and this became very popular, yet I do not like it pretty much at all.
I do not like things that seem to just go through the motions or are veiling a more simple or real beauty. That's what his art looks like, and what wiki suggested his approach was. Same reasons I don't like the game Guitar Hero and the movie A Scanner Darkly.
