Really the only bit I paid much attention to in the wiki article was that he's the guy who painted things exactly that already exist. Like Campbell's soup, news story pictures, celebrities, and this became very popular, yet I do not like it pretty much at all.

I do not like things that seem to just go through the motions or are veiling a more simple or real beauty. That's what his art looks like, and what wiki suggested his approach was. Same reasons I don't like the game Guitar Hero and the movie A Scanner Darkly.

Well that's understandable since everybody loves Guitar Hero.

Never played it even though I bet it's a very fun game. Maybe one of the funnest. However, I still have a problem with it.

Playing games where we shoot people is cool because we don't shoot people in real life; games where we pilot and smash vehicles into shit, battle magical beasts, or what have you, are totally cool because we do not do that stuff in real life. But playing a game where we learn how to and play a pseudo-guitar for a pseudo-audience makes my skin crawl because that shit it totally standard activity in real life.

South Park has it right. Guitar Queero is dumb; real guitar is the only dignified option. However, who cares since the only thing that really matters is having fun? I guess I have fun by being elitist and mocking all youse fake rockstars.
