6 year deal.
first post for me in this thread!! Go Canucks!
I'm bad luck and I ruined the Vancouver streak by going to the game last night :( But we'll win tomorrow!
Sundin is a Canuck.
Oh shit yeah!
Red Wings beat the shit out of the Ducks
It was awesome!
I seriously cannot believe that Sundin chose Vancouver. What the hell!
Excuse me we are talking about the Red Wings in this thread.Quote:

No one cares about the Red Wings. I'm so bored of them being a top team year after year after year after year. Lose for once dammit!
Yeah but it isn't like the fucking BUY the best players around if you look at them, how many players have been with them forever or they picked up really late and developed into amazing team players.Quote:

-girls drank more than the hot girls at the Mavs games
-the 7yr old kid next to me said "punch him in the face" like 10 times, reminded me of Ricky Bobby's kids
-the refs broke up all the fights
-the puck is easier to follow in person
-I enjoyed myself
-STARS WON!
sens are taking the cup this year for sure. wheeeeeeeeeeeeee
The Leafs are on pace for 51+ losses and are really starting to stink now. It'll probably be more than that when all is said and done. Wheeee!
Luongo is back tonight. Wheeee!
Ya but if we get Tavares or a top pick its worth it.Quote:

Something like 90-93% of the adult population is right handed in the NHL it seems like some teams are 60-70% shoot left side (which usually means they are left handed)
My theory: Could it be in the minors and before that 90% of people are right handed so left handed players have an advantage against right handed players because righties are used to playing righties, so the left handed players get scouted and excel?

found and article on it pretty awesome
What hand you shoot a puck with doesn't usually mean you're right-handed or left-handed, really. I shoot right and write right but I know lots of guys who are right-handed and shoot left. I guess it's just whatever you got used to as a kid.Quote:

Yeah the article explains it pretty well. In America a lot of kids play other sports before hockey and they shoot w/e hand they are because they played baseball first etc. In Russia/Canada and other hockey countries they play hockey from a young age and a lot shoot left but are right handed because I guess that feels more natural.Quote:

I also disagree that it means you're left handed. I and many people i know shoot lef thanded but throw and write with the right hand.Quote:

I like stuff like that a lot. Like when Calgary absolutely embarrassed Vancouver in the last game of the season last year and we still gave Iginla a standing ovation when he hit his 50th goal of the year that game.Quote:
