Could never get into bloons properly. Stay tuned for the second edition of my newsletter to find out why, coming out whenever I'm next drunk and playing flash games again.
I have a few to contribute, sorry too lazy to link these:
1) decision 2: a cool top down zombie shooter game with cool weapon upgrades and whatnots
2) tontie (try to find the newer version), a finger/eye coordination game that requires a numpad, crazy hard and probably impossible to beat the higher levels, this game is pretty old, and i've been playing it for years
3) hack slash crawl, super simple but fun dungeon crawler
4) N, probably my favorite flash game of all time, a platformer/puzzle/timelimit/physics game where you have to jump around with your little ninja collecting coins that add to your time limit and complete stages before the time runs out
5) Cave story: not a flash game, but a freeware pc game that takes like half a minute to download, it has a cool story, awesome music and feels kind of like super metroid, and is about as long as super metroid too.
I liked decision 2

tontie is great. One of my favorite games ever.
And, for posterity (note both are started by leg):

I've needed some flash game awesome lately. Anything worth trying?
+1 good shout kingnat
I could not even begin to imagine playing games like these. I would be hooked in no time and would never get any thing else done.
Make an account to gametwist.com and you can play slot machines like in the casino. The slot machines are close the same.

I had fun with this one. Sorta Euro style where it's just you building (vs the clock). Randomness can make/break a game, but different strategies to play out.

^ Took me 2 tries for easy, about 5 tries on regular difficulty.
Getting nomads to join you at just the right time (when you have room for a big population increase) is pretty vital.
I've mostly been doing only gathering and then some points into hunting for food. Agriculture seems weak. I have had some issues getting my population rolling to where I can actually get 250+ workers in stoneworking for the endgame push, even while running a food deficit.
Finally beat that fucker on Hard :P Fishing economy FTW

Or, technology, or resources. Basically them showing up is a huge boom.
I agree agriculture is generally weak. Getting some early stone working helps with the civilization improvement, which then helps with technology. (making up actual terms here because I'm too lazy to double check). Felt like a huge population was less necessary that way. I'm pretty sure the second time I won the game I had a population over 800 but was never able to recreate. Maybe it was nomads.
P.S. I haven't even tried the game on hard, felt like it would be too frustrating.
This didn't take too long, but neat puzzle idea (although ultimately a little simple):
