That's right. It's time for After Christmas, More Carnage

I have plenty of time to iron out the details.

Game will start on Dec. 26 - 30. Only hard rule is soon after Christmas. If Dec 26 is no good, then say so before we start.

There will be TWO role auctions. In each auction, players will send me 2 positive whole numbers and a request to give first a PR, then an alignment to any player. They may not choose the same player for both requests. I will privately tally the results and dole out the roles. Only the top auction winners' requests will be met.

The auction will be this, but the rest of the game format is different.

I'll do my best to balance things out, given the requests.

Specific roles will probably be limited to 1x or even a specific night. If everyone ends up wanting a different person to be a Seer, then expect variable seers in the game. A wolf Seer could be 1x peeked as villager, or some such. If the top 2 requests are to make the same person a wolf and a villager, then maybe I make them a Cursed Villager.

There are too many possibilities to cover all the combos, but I'm confident that I can semi-balance a semi role madness game. I will choose the number of wolves prior to game, based on number of players. I may nudge it if 1 of the teams looks OP.

The point is: Duck and cover.

This game's timing will be the usual FTR timing. I.e. 48 hour days, 24 hour nights, with an extension for weekends.

You will submit 2 sets of 2 numbers (they can be the same, if you like). One of them is your ballot for a PR, the other is your ballot for an alignment. You may not target the same person twice. You may target yourself once.

Only the top ballot winners will receive their request in each category.

I can deal with the bullying rilla, but I draw the line at fucking Nickleback. You've gone too far now.

This is too complicated for me right now. It's been a long weekend and I've had a couple of drinks. Can you explain this so it's drunk friendly?

Prior to game start, you will send me a request for any player to have a specific PR. As long as I understand the request, I will consider it valid. Keep in mind that I may nerf it if I deem it OP for the actual number of players and roles.

If all requests are granted, then that's fairly game breaking because everyone knows at least one person's role, and the wolves get a huge advantage.

So there will be a mini-game to determine who's requests are granted.

See the link in the OP for an explanation of the mini-game. I've been calling it an auction, but that word doesn't seem quite right.

In fact, there will be 2 mini-games, since I will also accept a request for any specific player to have a given alignment. I will only accept "Villager" or "Wolf" unless we get an unexpectedly large game.

My only stipulation is that you can't target the same player for both requests. You must make your requests for different people.

Still playable for epic end of the year wins and fails.

There are some quite interesting requests. I am fairly certain that the more complicated requests will be so nerfed as to be unrecognizable, but if we had more players, then we could have more varied roles.

There is still time to GET IN THIS GAME if you want to play.

Christmas 2016

Just waiting on 1 final role request (from gabe) and I can get started with D1. He tends to post in-game every irl day, so I expect he'll get back to me within the next 12 hours or so.

I expected the mini-games would take at least 24 hours each, so this is pretty much on schedule.

If all goes well, we'll be starting D1 before New Years.
