The villain here was an unknown Goldstar, and I made my decision pretty quick. If we assume this is a solid opponent, how does this affect our decision, if at all?

Heh. Maybe a decent plan for PLO. Thing is though.. I've decided my turn barreling range will be made up mostly of high equity draws, which, when faced with a raise will probably ship. If i choose to...
Thanks for the response man.
Hmm. I'm not sure I like a call/reeval. Calling guarantees he gets to see the river and possibly catch some equity and/or bluff profitably super high % of the time, and...
Thanks for the great response.
I've not got too much experience in deep 3b pots OOP so this spot was a little foreign to me. As soon as i made the bet, intuitively - i felt that something was...
Assume competent opponent. Thoughts?
I've already come up with what i think is best and why, but just out of interest I wanted to hear from some of the FTR guys.

Hand 3 Is going to be a little tricky if you haven't been observing his tendencies. Do you have any reads at all? I think if we bet turn and get called, on blank rivers we should probably be firing...
Don't think you get called very often on the riv. Think I prefer a bigger turn bet, or smaller river bet. There's just not many bluffs you can have in this spot, and for that reason i'd add hands...
Yah agreed. He tanked town to his last 2 seconds said 'nh' then folded. So i think he made a hero fold. I think the riv card is bad for me, theres actually a tonne of 67 combos he can have that i...
Woah forgot about this hand. The turn raise in this hand was a fictional line created by me, as I wanted to know what some people thought of it, and whether or not it was better then the line i...
prolly c/c'ing here most of the time and his flop betsizing makes me more inclined to do so. And c/c'ing turn on any card. If turn goes check check, riv decision depends on the turn and riv card and...
If we're playing against an aggro opponent that will turn made hands into bluffs on the river and ship busted draws then c/C'ing with our entire value range can be better. The problem with shoving...
close spot.... and depends how loosely he calls 3bets and how floaty and his unwillingness to fold draws.
I'm not sure how he plays draws on the flop in this spot but I'd say he's probably betting...
Your calling ranges seem fine, and you probably won't be getting exploited with these ranges PRE...but you have to know what to do with these hands Post in order to work out whether or not your being...
Hrmm... I agree with M2M somewhat. Looks like you're trying to create some kind of default preflop game plan against a whole group of players,
when you really need to be thinking about how they play...
vill is 31/27 15% 3b over 200~ hands. He likes to 3b a lot from the blinds. The few times i've called he has either cbet and c/f the river( on JTxxx rainbow) Or c/f flop (2 times both on lo drawy...
Yes you played it fine, unlucky. Your range seems ok.
The thing is though, nothing can really be learned from this hand. If you're looking to improve you have to ask good questions to get good...
If we take out sets/low sc's then the only hands that he could have are just FD's. I think it's unlikely that he just randomly decides to bluff raise turn with a QsJs type hand, or float flop with...
Vill just sat down and immediately 3b my btn raise on another table, and again here. I ptr'd him and he's a decent winner at this stake. Basically unknown vs unknown.
By the river Vill almost...
Good points. I guess my equity on the flop is terrible against his range, and low enough to merit a fold, didn't think about that too clearly at the time. I'm going to get barreled off a high % of...
Vill is a SNE multi tabler, 20/17. Plays Super aggro PF but haven't seen anything creative postflop or anything out of line yet.
Folding is exploitable but without enough info/history i've no...
This place is so dead....so i'll post my non standard hands for discussions sake. So go ahead and criticize as best as possible.
Weird spot. Never expect villain to be balanced and have Ax / nut...

Against a semi reg/ recreational. Plays on the looser side, calls a lot of 3bets. I guess my plan was to fire turn and ship river and didn't really expect to get raised.

I much prefer the 3b here. It's a great spot to squeeze for value with a wider range assuming UTG has a high fold to 3b%. I 3b AT+ / KJ+ and TT+ in this spot.
