Both hands I would like to see a showdown but if I had to choose I would much rather fold Hand 2 on the turn than Hand 1 anywhere.

    1) Between the EP pf minraise and the flop minraise I'm thinking AA/KK and folding the flop. Deffinitly fold the turn.

    2) Fold the turn when you get raised. These turn raises are usually big strength. Rarely bluffs or weak hands.

i haven't seen chicagokid in a long time on FTR, but i dont think he minraises in NL. I've seen a few chicago kids even at the 10/20 game

    HAND 1: 3-Bet the flop

HAND 2: Classic 2nd pair float tripper. Get away.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

i dont think this chicagokid is from FTR, this guy was a megadonk...and why 3bet the flop? ive always been told 3betting a lot of flops with overpairs is bad when you have position.

Usually is. I believe I have to restate my opinion on hand 1, and say fold on the flop. Reason being I read through it fast and just realized you said the villain is passive. Passive villain is ahead of you too often on a check raise in this spot.
