Default $22 HU SNGs on PP

I was tilting a little the other day (I play 25NL ring) and decided to play some tournies. I hate normal SNGs so I said what the hell and decided to try a $11 Heads Up SNG. ( i thought low stakes HU is just luck so i dont normally play them) I won. Then I tried another and won again. After this I thought lets try a $22. I won this one and now have been mixing in these $22 HU SNGs into my ring game schedule. I have won another 3 in a row since my first $22.

    So I have totaled 6 in a row. 2 wins @ $11 and 4 wins @ $22

Am I just getting lucky or is there more skill involved in these than I thought? I felt like I was playing well in them even wihtout good cards. And there definitely are some fish. One guy in a $22 one showed me almost every one of his hands face up. LOL he seemed to be a complete noob.

    Any opinions?

Small sample size, could be a heater. That said, a friend of mine plays HU SNGs at PS almost exclusively and wins 70%+ of them. I've watched him play and I agree with you that there are plenty of terrible players who play them.

I use to play HU exclusively... You won't believe the variecnce until it starts happening.. I'm not on my pc so I don't have my official stats, but I think my longest win streak was about 14 games and my longest losing streak was about 11 games. Talk about mix emotion!

Yes you have been lucky, but you may still be a good player. If you enjoy them, keep playing them and work on improving, but be prepared for the absolutely inevitable downswing. Gl.
