    Would the usual line be to check/call depending on his bet size?

    yes. If he's 3 betting lite you are likely ahead and by leading you are allowing him to inflate the pot if he wants to by raising. A check-call will keep the pot smaller. I would also fold preflop if he bet any bigger.

    Just a clarification, I built this hand in a hand builder and I meant it to be $50NL as per the title and not $25NL. I must have typed it in wrong. So it's not a 6X preflop raise, only a 3X.

    Just fold pre.

    Yeah just fold pre. It's just tough to play this OOP postflop without initiative.
    The most likely outcome is;
    - you c/f flop
    - you c/c flop, c/f turn
    - you c/c flop, turn checks through and you get no value.

    anyway, if villains doesn't have a made hand he's often going to see all cards cheap, while picking up good bluffing spots on the way.
    The times you hit a set aren't gonna make up for it.
