Default 100nl KK vs aggro fish

This guy c/minraised me earlier on a flop w air. He's bluffy and bad and calls too much also.

I checked turn with intention of calling most bets cuz I know he is gonna rep this ace and if I bet and get raised I have to fold.

    Standard?

yeah i think you could profitably c/r turn and see him fold most of the time. his turn bet i think is a weak attempt to rep the ace. I'd put him on like qj/kj maybe 99

Why are you check/raising the turn if you think his hand is weak AND he's likely to fold? That is really confusing.

I think the way this was played is pretty standard given the read.

I'm really tempted to put him all-in here given you said he calls too much.

If your plan is to c/c, I think I'd rather just shove it cause I don't think he's gonna bluff in this spot that much but he might call Jx or something.

    It's close though... given reads.

I play the same and obv call a river shove.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

If we think he is weak and trying to rep the ace on the turn why the check raise?

Anyhow does anybody like a tiny bet on the river and hope he makes another stab at repping aces and raising/shoving?

Don't post results (in this case his river check behind is a huge piece of information).

I bet this flop a little bigger vs. this guy on this board prob $20. Turn is standard I think, river is close but I like a shove. Like griffey said it's hard to find many hands in his range he's going to turn turn into a bluff. Maaaybe 99/T9s/98s. But hands like KJ,QJ,JT,QQ won't bluff and just might call a shove. It's close though and I don't hate c/c.

Yea make a bet on the river, give him room to still bluff by looking a little scared but make it easy enough for him to still think his pair is good and your repping the A. I get that you thought he would bluff, and I think he did on the turn, so why would he fire two if your going to call.

I think with $40 left in his stack the only bet here is a shove.

Your right Zook, shoulda left out the end of the HH.

Regardless, I think I'm good here like always but even if he is an aggfish I doubt I'll get my money in good here shoving. Calling a shove, yes, I could be good quite a bit but I don't think he's really ever calling a river shove with worse regardless of how bad he is.

Check seems standard unless you think he'd call you with some kind of crappy J.

betting the river would be pretty silly. if you think he calls too much then the consistent line would be to bet the turn and shove the river. changing your extraction strategy on this blank river is inconsistent and bad.
