Halv all this goes out the window when you see that the fish isn't passive postflop. Also the button is an unknown, we don't know anything about his tendencies. Besides, if the button is a reg I certainly don't think we can expect him to just let us take the pot uncontested if the fish folds to your lead. I know I certainly wouldn't.

Absolutely. We'll be put in very tough RIO spots vs these opponents who might be hard read with limited info. We'll also often not be able to win the pot with the best hand if the flop isn't favorable.
