Against a nit I'm not too happy here. I usually quick-call the raise and see a turn. Usually if he was testing with a weaker overpair he'll check behind the turn and you can comfortably make a smallish value bet on the river, which unless it came A-K, he will call fairly often.

If he bets big on the turn I would just let it go.

I don't like a flop re-raise because it defines your hand very clearly (not good no matter what he has) and gets you dangerously close to pot-committed. And against a guy with those stats, no I'm not happy to stack off. At least not with him leading the betting.
