Default 100NL vs fish: The dreaded turn c/r

Guy is 47/29, doesn't like folding to 3bs, his fold to 3b is like 17% over a small sample
I still can't see anything but two purr/set when he raises me on the turn like that
I just don't feel comfortable playing for 150BB here vs. a fish showing a lot of strength, but folding an overpair in a 3b pot feels dirty

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB ($160.10)
    Hero (BB) ($310.20)
    UTG ($101.50)
    MP ($100)
    CO ($66.20)
    Button ($100)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, Q
4 folds, SB bets $3, Hero raises to $9, SB calls $6

    Flop: ($18) 2, J, 6 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $12, SB calls $12

    Turn: ($42) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $34, SB raises to $139.10 (All-In), Hero?

I'd probably 3bet bigger pre vs a fish with deep stacks who never folds to 3bets.

    What's his AF?

seems like a not-close fistpump call
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

i'm not fistpumping vs your avg nl100 fish here, but i probably call. i also make it $12 or so preflop deep vs someone who isn't folding to a 3ball.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

If he has an AF around 2 or less than 2 I'll time bank for about 5 seconds before calling. If he has an AF > 2 or shown any propensity to raise anything postflop, I'll call in < 1s.

if he hates folding to 3bets he's a billion jacks and FDs in his range.

When you throw in the lagg-fish random hand spazz factor it seems like a fairly easy call. lagg-fish don't seem to be inclined to thinking things like "what am I repping" or "what hands will he call a shove with".

Someone I recently spoke with asked me what range do you put him on here. If you dont think he has a set, then Id prob put this fish on a Jc 10c or somehting drawy like that. and yes I'd call, but to be honest I dont really know if that is the right move

i missed the part where we consider folding
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

vs. a fish, you definitely can ignore 'standard' 3betting sizes and go for $11 or $12 here, and he wont adjust when you are 3betting slightly weaker hands like AJs for $9

I see why everyone here wants to shovel the money in, its an overpair in a 3bet pot with a fish...but I'd have to evaluate how I'd seen the fishy play up to the point. Have you seen any big hands or pots that went to showdown? Without any reads I call. I'd need reasons not to call here, and I think there might be a bunch if we've gotten to see a few orbits with him and know something about him.

I see a few different types of fish, as obviously we all do to some extent. They usually fall at or between these extremes imo

type A) laggy bluffish -- Top pair or overpair = ship that in vs. them, obviously

type B) weak-passive station - Calls half the raises on the table, any 3bet you do, etc. and never really shows a lot of strength until he has a pretty good hand, at least TP. Probably not even raising draws, and almost never semibluffing with a draw in a 3b pot!

If he's closer to fish type B, I would be mucking. If he's anywhere in the middle or towards lag snapcall

it s just too fking hard for him to have a hand that beats us

    fish worry about fd's
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
