Default 100nl- weird 3b pot vs fish

Villain is a 53/27/1.8 AF. WTSD 52. C/R turn 67%(3). Fold to 3b 0(2). 103 hands. He seemed really fishy and splashy. In the last orbit he 3b and called a 4bet from Mp opener with 45h. Bet pot and called a shove (100bb) on a KT9hh board. He filled up and won the pot. The other guy obv had aces.

    Thoughts?

if he calls 3bets so light, why did you bet on the flop and turn so low??

vs this drooler at least $10 pre, and close to pot flop & turn, especially cuz you're 160 deep.

Why are you not trying harder to get whale's stack? You have a very strong hand vs a drooler range.

    As played call.

I guess the reason i was betting small was that if he were to spaz out and raise at some point i could call and still have enough on the river to make a good decision( as compared to a math decision). I was also unsure about my hand on the turn because he could have such a wide range and the board started getting really coordinated.

    Does this make any sense?

No you should be betting enough on each street so you can go all in on the river.

As played I would probably fold.

    No hindsight for the blind.
Like they said, bigger bets all round, something like 12-18-46-rest. You're not looking to make a big fold, you're looking to make a big pot.

As played, I certainly call the river on such a nut card, more interesting would be on a 2 or something.

Is it suicide to still want to get it in on turn? I'm thinking he's not gonna fold any pair+draw, and probably not any J and some naked draws.

I think he's wondering to call or raise.

I think call since he is way more likely to have turned a straight something or hit a fd than to have something good that would call a raise that we are beating.

Thanks for the insight guys. Bet sizing in big pots is definitely something i gotta work on. I think i act too fast in these spots and dont adjust my bet sizing against their range well enough.

Any how, in this hand i did call and fishcakes showed up with 9 10 of spades and owned me pretty bad. lol.

against a loose fish calling far to much betting less than 1/2 pot on a flop of this texture is not good..
