you probably realize but just to be sure, position isn't all about raising and cbetting. you generally get paid better in position. for one example, oop you might think c/r is good but then villain checks behind. in position, the same villain might lead timidly and then you raise...now he has a tough decision since maybe you just raised since he looks weak. and it'll be better to make them make these decisions if the pot starts off bigger because you raised pre flop.

so even though certain hands tend to win more vs people that call down too much, you can still occasionally raise more marginal hands in position just to build the pot and outplay them via getting that extra value, instead of raising to blow them off the pot (occasionally you can do that still though).

but yea if they're calling so ridiculously post flop, I'd wanna limp in a lot instead of raise too...just pointing out that you should still be raising more in LP than EP.
The chronic limpers at this level are really limping their hands just to see a flop. If they dont hit a peice of it then they are out. Its actually quite profitable now that i ithink about it. When i raise the top ~50% of hands from the button and they call out of the blinds, statistically they arent hitting anything 2/3 times and a c-bet takes the hand down fairly easy. If they have something and i dont hit i can get away cheap and make back the 4BB investment on the next round when they call again and fold the flop. Even when they do hit, sometimes it is middle/bottom pair to my top pair or its them calling 2/3 PSB's down to the river w/ A5 and i can value bet w/ any big A really. Its actually quite prof
