    No hindsight for the blind.

Default 190BBs, TPTK: pot control or weak sauce?

Villain is a regular running 20/5 over a big sample. I have no notes on him which probably means he's playing pretty straightforwardly. He hasn't done much in the 90 or so hands I've been sitting, the last few orbits he's c/f'ed some flops, and c/c+c/f some turns, and generally played quite weakly. I've been running 29/25, though his HUD probably shows me at around 18/16. Haven't shown down much, usually I've picked it up or given it up on the turn.

No IQ poker 2.00/4.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

    Button ($799.70)
    SB ($758.95)
    BB ($405.00)
    UTG ($118.16)
    UTG+1 ($72.00)
    CO Hero ($726.00)

Preflop: Hero is in the CO with J A
2 folds, Hero raises to 14.00, 1 fold, SB calls 12.00, 1 fold.

    Flop (32.00) 3 J 7
SB checks, Hero bets 26.00, SB calls 26.00.

    Turn (84.00) 7
    SB checks, Hero checks.

    River (84.00) 4
SB bets 52.00, Hero calls 52.00

I hate calling river bets not knowing where I'm at. Bet $60 on the turn and bet the river for value if he c/c and checks river.

I agree the best line is bet turn bet river, but why raise the river as played? What in his range that we beat is calling a raise? He said the guy's weak, but made no mention he's a station.

b/f turn seems bad, are you b/f QQ here?

bet/folding the turn is good against this guy since he's probably raising when he has 33 or a 7.

Against straightforward regs, I would say yes.

Is it because we don't think this guy bluffs ever that you all advocate betting the turn as opposed to the river?

you're going to see 88-TT here a lot, so I'd just 3 barrell for value in the end. I agree with b/f the turn now, I just wonder if QJs/KJs/JTs are in a 20/5's flatting range from the SB but I don't think he's raising the turn with them.

Oh ill tell you right now no way he's raising the turn with them.

I think some players cry call a J here if we raise because he sucks at hand reading.
