1'st vs. 2'nd place

    Default 1'st vs. 2'nd place

I tend to end up 2'nd even if think my HU play isn't that bad.
Blinds are often big and often the best situation I can hope for is to get it AI in situations like this:

    Hero A4o
    Oponent KJo

And (so far) more often than not he catch his K or J and I loose. So far I'm in second place almost three times more often than first place. Anythin I can do to improve?

And another question. How good is 98s when it comes to calling a HU push from a trigger happy oponent?
'Well, obviously, this is not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.'

    ...

Depending on how you two GOT AI it could be +EV for both of you.

It's nine high... So "bad" would be the correct answer.

But pushing with 98s isn't a bad idea if you're desperate....

    Blinds of 200/400
    Heads up
    You have 89s

    Your stack 1000
    His 9000
    He's all-in, so are you

    Your stack 5000, his 5000
    He's all-in, you fold
