Default 2/4: river c/r against nit

Villain is 15/10 TAG nit with 5% 3bet. 57% fold to cbet.

I thought that it's not unreasonable that I would check the turn with 44/QQ/QT in his eyes (I probably wouldn't). He could be scared of KJ as well.

    BB ($948.60)
    UTG ($862.60)
    Hero (MP) ($783.40)
    CO ($400)
    Button ($438.40)
    SB ($370.80)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 5, 6
1 fold, Hero bets $14, 1 fold, Button calls $14, SB calls $12, 1 fold

    Flop: ($46) 10, 4, Q (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $32, Button calls $32, 1 fold

    Turn: ($110) 10 (2 players)
    Hero checks, Button checks

    River: ($110) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $62, Hero raises to $737.40 (All-In), $330 for villain to call.

do you rly need to shove though? 190.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

Yah I agree, I'm prone to bluffing more than I need to as well.

I kinda like this, the shove looks stronger than 190 for some reason (beyond it just being a bigger number to call). Just makes it seem like you hope to cooler him so I can def see him folding KJ here a lot and it's hard for him to have a boat. Guess i'm just stating the obvious.
    Family Cruise IMO

I'm not sure this is a great flop to cbet though, waay too many hands are going to call and you'll be forced to barrel almost always.

Hands that might/probably will call flop make up at least 30-35 combos: 89,T8,T9,JT,KT,AT,QT,QJ,AJ,JJ,KQ,J9,444

I think $190 on the river will be very tempting since my range is so wide before the raise.

I don't like it, because I don't think you do this with nut hands and I think a good hand reader could make a big call here, and small chance he decided to check the turn with the nuts.
    Check out the new blog!!!

I obviously wouldn't do this vs someone I expect to be a good hand reader. This nit has got KQ/AQ here really often and he doesn't understand that he shouldn't even be betting it.

I might be the only one who thinks this but the turn just seems like too good of a spot for you to bet w/ all of your really strong hands since the ten is such a big part of his flop calling range and a spot (at least I would look) to turn my hand into a bluff a lot if I didn't have the ten and raise. Also, I wouldn't expect any opponents to fold a ten by the river so if I had flopped a set or whatever I'd just be bombing turn and river. Making this river c/r seem pretty incredulous (at least in my eyes...maybe most people don't think that way).

I disagree w/ the flop bet being bad. We have bdfd and bdsd, yeah our flop bet gets called a lot but the vast majority of those combos can't handle the heat on multiple streets of this particular board.

Depends on the opponent, but I disagree. I think vast majority of opponents will be in "wow he'd barrel AK, AJ, KJ type stuff on this board, I have to call down two and see what happens" mode.

haha sorry! I'm a nit when it comes to reading other ppl's bluffs, but not when I run dumb ones myself 4 times a session.

I'd like a cbet infinitely more if it was a 9c instead of Tc. Whats your plan on turn with any card 9 or greater? Or are you only barelling 3,7, and diamond turns?
