    HAND #2
    ------------------
I now have villain 32/8/0.86 over 84 hands in my database. Not sure how many hands I had while playing this hand.
I'm not sure of the turn bet. Somehow it seems when I c/c I always get faced with a river bet to which I have to fold.

both played fine, if i was nit picking you should of bet pot or possibly more that pot on the turn of the aa hand but your line is still ok.

    1. I don't know how .25/.50 plays, but I c/c this river all day and expect to see hearts or 87 a lot.

    2. I probably c/f the turn. There aren't many draws he can have and this guy probably isn't folding a J to your second barrel. As played, c/f river.

Hand 1: 87 checks behind this river like always at these stakes. I'll do some math tomorrow with some ranges to see if I can backup a fold or call.

Hand 2: The turn bet was actually meant for value, you don't think it is?

as for the 1st hand i think its fine but like others said i probably woulda bet bigger on the turn expecting to get calls from any T all day.

on the 2nd one ... its more player dependent ... like zook said, at higher limits youd expect to see a weak player play a big draw like this, its usually just not the case at 50nl. ---this coming from someone thats been playing these games recently : [

anyways, sometimes ill value 2nd pr vs players at these limits. but they have to be a little frustrated with me, i mean ... if im bettin gthe turn its usually cuz im looking to get 3 streets of value and i plan on betting the river. usually villain would have to have called my flop bet very quickly for this to be the case....his quick call will indicate to me that hes on some sort of bluff catching type hand that he plans to call down with .. (sometimes he'll have a draw but the point is u really just cant be sure about players at these limits.

the issue at hand is ... will he call 3 barrels w/ a pair of 9s? .. thats what you are hoping for i assume.... though i might lean towards thinking its better to check the turn and value bet the river to make more from a pair of 9s and lose less to a pair of q's since i think it's less likely he'll be calling 3 barrels w/ a pr of 9s .... but more likely that he would call a river bet if u checked the turn.

Do you use this line when you set?

    Everyone else...does it matter?

hand 1: you induced a bluff nicely there....now call. I dont see him pushing tens here...i think he'd instead go for a smallish value bet. Just my opinion.

I'd check-call a shove on both rivers but probably fold to smaller bet sizes.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

    Thanks guys.

I kindof had an offday where I seemed to make the wrong decisions in every non-automatic spot.
This definately helped to get my thoughts straight again.

No, shoves make his range lean more towards bluffs, because he would likely valuebet smaller.

    Yep....minor mis-understanding.

still gotta call smaller bets tho. they may be value more often, but pot odds are better
