Default 200nl Middle set. river wtf.

Villian is stackinkids. I really don't have any relevant history with him. He's running like 31/21 and being fairly aggressive postflop.

With the overbet shove he's repping KJ, I suppose he could have like QJ or JJ but I kinda want to discount JJ and QJ seems unlikely unless its the QJdd. Same thing with KJ but again I don't know enough about him if he's capable of floating a raise unless he has KJdd. So obviously on the river is very difficult for me to give him credit for a J but what is he turning into a bluff if he doesn't have a J? Like maybe AT that he decided to check the flop for pot control, KK played stupidly and like KQdd. I guess in this spot where its difficult for him to have the nuts and difficult for him to be bluffing what would you guys do?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) -
    saw flop

    Button ($200)
    SB ($180)
    BB ($50.35)
    UTG ($241.20)
    MP ($226.70)
    Hero (CO) ($247.30)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, 9
UTG bets $8, MP calls $8, Hero calls $8, Button calls $8, 2 folds

    Flop: ($35) Q, 8, A (4 players)
UTG checks, MP checks, Hero checks, Button checks

    Turn: ($35) 9 (4 players)
UTG bets $22, 1 fold, Hero raises to $50, 1 fold, UTG calls $28

    River: ($135) 10 (2 players)
    UTG bets $183.20 (All-In), Hero...umm wtf?

what's up with the turn sizing?

When you're in a spot where villain is capable of having a strong hand AND you have a stronger hand, just raise HARD and build a pot. There is no reason here why villain can't have AQ, A8, 888, 98, Axdd, Qxdd.. tons of hands he's feeling ok about.

Make it like $75-80 on the turn.

    As played.. meh.... probably fold.

whats his c-bet%? that is pretty important (oh the ironies). this seems like a pretty clear fold. this is never ever ever a bluff. also yeah, raise turn harder. i mean even his whiffed diamonds get there.

def raise the turn bigger and fold as played. I would bet this flop when checked to nearly always also. 4way pot on AQ8, someone is going to play a pot with you.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

cause hero takes it down a lot. you can bet like 3/5 pot and take it down most the time. ppl usually fold their Q's.

So, villain has KJ and thinks we have a naked Jack or he just has a naked Jack and thinks we can't play poker?

K my logic for my turn sizing was either A) he has a Q or KK and I don't want to blow him outta the pot or B) He has some FD and I want him to shove thinking he has a small amount of FE.

    I folded the river.

hes folding Qx or KK to any raise size anyway, so make him pay for his draws

Not to mention, I'm not even convinced he's betting Qx or KK OOP into 3 people on this board.

what are the blind levels? If they were 1/2, you should have folded the flop. Otherwise, you just got unlucky and now you have to fold the river.

He certainly doesn't have to have KJ when it's pretty damn obvious that we can't have KJ. He is an aggro villain, but he has to have a jack here given your turn aggression.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.
