Default 4b pot vs some 25/50 player at 1/2 I guess

    No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($429.20)
    UTG ($323.70)
    MP ($204)
    CO ($200)
    Button ($833.95)
    Hero (SB) ($200)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, A
2 folds, CO bets $6, Button raises $20, Hero raises $39, 2 folds, Button calls $20

    Flop: ($88) 4, 6, 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $45, Button calls $45

    Turn: ($178) 2 (2 players)

    Total pot: $178

So the btn is down 200k or something but up like 2BB/100 over 100k hands so he's a winning player, probably just took a shot too high and lost a lot. His btn 3b% is 10 and co is a reg, so it's definitely a spot villain is going to be 3betting light, I have a hand way ahead of his range so I 4bet for value and plan on getting it in if he does 5bet. He flats, so on this flop I felt like I needed to make a bet that looked like I was leaving room for myself to shove the turn because of the draw heaviness of the flop and actually expected to get a fold or get shoved on on this particular flop super often. But now that he just calls I get super confused and can't figure out what he has. I ended up chickening out and checking, he jammed I folded, but I'm really starting to think I shoulda just shoved the turn since I can't think of a hand he's trapping me with on this board that isn't afraid of a ton of turn cards.... Thoughts?

there are a ton of turn cards he is afraid of, unfortuneately the 2 isnt one of them. I think i just c/f flop here. even though your 4bet size is ridiculously small and he may peel lighter because of this, were getting jammed on here by everything that isn't complete air.

I hate your 4 bet size oop, he's basically folding nothing and your gonna be put in sooo many gay spots, as played I probs c/f and feel dirty.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

You made a min 4bet, and I see ppl basically calling these a lot and not folding. did you think it had fold equity vs anything but his air button range?

I also don't see how you are hoping to get it in here 'for value', as you cold 4bet... unless you two have some insane dynamic it seems like you are outhinking yourself.

Marshall 4bs small to get people to fold post-flop by barreling them off their hand

I'd just shove the turn because I suspect his range at this point in the hand is wider than your average bear.

That said I'd just go $60ish pre-flop and shove any flop because I don't see value in fucking around with a guy like this.
