    Default 4th nuts, probable split

Villain just sat down 1 hand ago. I probably should have 3bet AQo, but aside from that-- Do we really want to re-open the betting on the river? Not quite a Chad Brown HU tournament hand with only 4th nuts. Seems more prudent to check it down and move on to the next hand...

I'd bet like $1.50 just in case he was bluffing with a king on the turn but I'd check if I knew he was a really good player

at 25NL Id bet probably $3 because there are enough people who will call with just a K or maybe even lower PP. The times you get paid off there more than make up for the times he shows up with AA/KK/7x after playing like this.

Even though theres alot behind here I think the small pot works in your favour since people will be more likely to make throwaway calls with the K

    Good point.

I had a read that he was just a bad player later (which this hand helped with after he showed down). This being his 2nd hand, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he at least could read the board. I just didn't see any reason why he'd check the flop and bet the A on the turn without at least one A in his hand. I was almost sure I'd just be feeding the rake by betting the river and splitting.

He had 66 ; not sure he calls a river bet but meh-- got some information on him at least.

Since your almost always winning or tieing here, you may as well bet even though it doesn't have much value.

Not betting the river is a sin.
