    Default 5/10 HU vs reg

Villain is running like 48/40, i'm 3 tabling with him and he's a reg. One relevant hand to his personality is that i saw him check TPGK on 3 streets earlier in the match even though i checked behind twice. I have a hand in the top of my range but i doubt it matters.

Pretty sure folding is correct i just wanted to make sure.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (2 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($1284)
    BB ($995)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 3, 8.
Hero raises to $30, BB calls $20.

    Flop: ($65) 4, 5, T (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero checks.

    Turn: ($65) 8 (2 players)
BB bets $55, Hero calls $55.

    River: ($175) 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $150, BB raises to $910 (All-In), Hero folds.

    Final Pot: $475

B/f flop is obv standard but I'm sure you had a reason to check behind.

I play the river the same. It sucks because he knows he you can't have a big hand, but I need a big read to hero call this.

why did you check back flop? planning on just getting to showdown and prove you dont always c/b air. also i pitch preflop.

sucks but looks like a solid fold.

idk dude i probably call here. Unless he has a spewy image or something. I can imagine something worse for value doing this (only rarely) but i think this is pretty bluffy.

Just cause i checked the flop doesn't mean i can't bluff later . My HU strategy involves a lot of checking back on flops.

hmm been thinking about this hand some. Im leaning more towards a call, your hand is pretty much totally disguised. He probs puts you on a missed draw or very weak pair at most and should be able to get you off it. was there any timing tells on river?

I dont think its ever bad to show you dont c-bet 100%, mixing things up, esp v's a reg HU can only be good.

I probably fold, but I keep thinking of a quote from Fnord: "Try to work out what your opponent wants you to do, and do the opposite". This looks a lot like he wants you to fold.

Unless of course he's levelling .
Just dipping my toes back in.

My hand is disguised... yea kind of. It doesn't really affect is value hands though because he's rring most overpairs and therefore not shoving that board with any worse (i doubt he'd shove an overpair anyway). I think i just have to soul read here, he c/r pretty damn fast so it seemed planned, and with this specific board i think that's more likely a made hand than not.

If i had T8 i wonder if it would make a difference ....
