5/10 simple spot hard decision

TheFan is a pretty aggro guy who is not afraid to threebarrel weak ranges. His threebet% pre is high but he hasnt threebet me much this session. His cbet% is high, but really havent played him in awhile.

Note stack sizes and line check appreciated. General thoughts on these spots? I'm tempted to call down just to not be exploitable but at the same time i feel like people think they aren't going to get credit here anyways so they never bluff.

Hmm, blind battle. I would always 4-bet this pre (and I guess fold to 5-bet since we are deep).

I think folding the turn is OK although villain will very likely bet 88/99 here also and will barrel his garbage pretty often. I'd probably call at least one more myself though.

i would 4-bet pre virtually 100% of the time i thnk, u aren't reallllllly that deep so i'd get it in for 1700. I may be way off on that last part, and I honestly don't have a dilemma with 4-bet folding like zangief suggested. Its still a solid play just because he'll flatcall with alot of hands.

i guess the reason i'd 4b pre is that i have no idea what to do here.

I'm not really a fan of 4-bet calling this off too often,given stacks. We're essentially risking 1.7k to win his $110 3bet, in a spot where we're almost always at best flipping.

As played, this spot sucks pretty hard. I probably call this turn pretty often, and re-eval on river. I don't mind a turn fold either.

If I fourbet here I'm definitely fourbet folding.

I guess I dont hate fourbetting since i bet he calls with a ton of hands since were deep. Although playing this hand OOP in a big pot is going to make me look really stupid a lot I think.

So you'd cbet a lot of flops?

no, probably not

i was just thinking it would be easier to make 2 street decisions with a strong range than 3 street decisions with a weak one

I think you need to call here some portion of the time and fold another portion of the time what the perfect mix is only god knows.

btw, given my experience with him i'd think you should call turn and and he probably won't bluff the river here. His only moves are basically a double barrel and a squeeze.

But that's irrelevant if were just thinking in your perspective. But thinking about it, he screwed himself a bit with his betsizing leaving him only 1k to shove into a 1400 pot. Some people just don't have the balls to bluff that river much, do you think he does (with my reads, no, but with yours maybe different?)?

It's a tough spot where you are, but I would call to see the river. it might be worth it to see his hand, and I'm not reading that he's necessarily beating you here, since you say he's pretty aggro. I think you're still in a solid place with your T's and the river to come.

I'm known to be a station but I don't think I fold this turn very often at all.

dont 4bet pre, dont fold turn, maaaybe fold river sometimes
