Default 5/10: some nice HU action

Very aggro game, villain extremely competent HS pro. My image is total garbage and my stats for the session were pretty sick (55/45/2.5). Villain stats were conservative: 45/27/2.3, but he was bluffing constantly and value betting very very thin.

Hand 1 - He's representing that the 6 helped him as I doubt he would check a 1 pair+ hand (or an overpair) on that board on the turn. If you were deeper I'd say fold but seeing as your getting such good odds I think you have to call - He is either bluffing or has 2 pair+ on the river as he isn't shoving worse for value even if he is value betting thin. The way the action went he probably has 76/56 as I'm guessing he is betting the turn with an OESD seeing as he probably thinks he has good FE?

Hand 2 - I'm presuming he thinks you are cont betting if you have a pair on this board but then again if the JJ hand was shown down then maybe not, but your hand does look like AK in his eyes I'm guessing, He'd probably also bet a Q on the flop and raise the turn if he had a set due to the drawy board. He probably has air a lot here and expects you to fold your Ax to a large bet on the river so NC.

Hand 3 - I like playing this really fast with your bluffy image - however you should raise a LOT larger on the flop when he C/R's you, unless you play your draws like that with the small raise and were hoping he would think you were on a flush draw (evidently not due to his chat) - What do you think his range was on when he called you on the flop? he would almost certainly reraise with 2 pair+ so when he calls he is most likely on a draw or Jx. On the turn you shove AI and if he did have a draw he is calling and you are looking for your two outer, if not he is folding - check the turn as played or at least bet smaller so if he does have Jx he may call.

Hand 4 - A small lead, what does this mean from this villain? is he trying to induce a raise? is it a cheap bluff? is it a cheap turn with a draw? It's hard to comment without much knowledge of the opponant when they do things like that but I'd say call as he probably expects you to have nothing here and id imagine he would reraise any hand that is raising the river for value (77/A10+) which leaves 44, maybe A7 but I'm not sure if he calls that pre.

Hand 5 - He is showing strength the whole way - I doubt your straight is good here, however I think the river is a C/C unless he overbets, if he is a good hand reader (which he must be due to the J7 hand) he probably knows you have at least a straight on the river when you lead and unless he thinks you can fold a straight on the river you allow him to either fold worse hands or raise better ie perfectly.

Hand 6 - I'm really not sure here, does your chat influence things? if so in what way? what does he think you C/Minraise on that two tone flop? a flush draw? AQ? fwiw I'd probably just C/F as that flop hit his range very hard apart from KK but I'd imagine he would check behind with that.

    Thanks for your input toadstool.

    1. I'm certainly not very often ahead here, since I really don't think he expects any FE, but odds are simply ridiculous and his line is strange.

    2. Thanks.

    3. I minraise check-raises on the flop with a pretty wide range in many aggro HU games. On the flop I was hoping him to think that I have air alot, and certainly NOT a draw. When the draw hits, it looks kindof strange shoving into it. He has called my shoves very light in some situations when he thinks I have air, but he clearly didn't fall for it this time. Pretty sick read too.

    4. I've only seen him lead weak until now in the game, but he knows that, so he might very well be inducing a raise, so I proceeded with caution. The check behind on the turn seems to indicate that he doesn't have aces up, right? AK/AQ/AJ/AT are very unlikely since he has reraised them preflop every single time.

    5. I really hate his shove, whatever he had. I'm never calling this without a boat.

    6. This was interesting. I put him on TT+/AK 75% and air 25%. I was pretty sure he put me on a pretty big hand since I called a 4-bet oop. The point of the chat was to make him believe that I'm not folding, and that he would slow down with TT/JJ/KK/Air.
