5/10: srsly wtf spot vs fish?

Villain is 40/7/3.5 aggro weirdo. Bashes everyone at the table like he would be drunk. I'm 34/28/3 and my image is bad. I've isolated this same villain many times and he's never folded.

PRE-FLOP
UTG calls $10, CUTOFF folds, HERO bets $45, SB folds, BB calls $35, UTG calls $35.

FLOP [board cards 7C,10H,JC ] (pot $140)
BB bets $50, UTG bets $300, HERO scratches his head...

I'd really like more postflop info but I usually shove vs. this guy as described.

That said pre-flop is a little light by even my standards. Why not just over-limp?

I actually think raising is better than over limping with this hand at 5/10+ because people tend to punish multiple limpers with a very high frequency.

After the fish limps, how frisky are they going to get from the SB/BB?

IMO pretty frisky, ita half dead money and most regulars are not limping premium hands behind.

If he never folds a 40% pf hand range he should be pretty easy to outplay postflop in pos with your raising hand range. A good player is probably raising at least 20% of all hands in the blinds in this spot.

I think T7s is really too bad to play a 3-way pot with, especially without the preflop lead, so I think fold > limp. And as Cocco said, the blinds will be taxing us with a very wide range.

I think vs a fish with a 40% range, in position, with the preflop lead, this is going to be a slightly +EV play.

I did shove here, but I think it's very close. If the board was rainbow I think this would be a very standard fold. It feels retarded to play T7s and then fold it when both cards pair, but bottom two is never going to dominate a hand that has raised and reraised.

Over-limping the button is a pretty steady revenue stream for me. Although I can see frisky blinds changing that around. In any case I'm ESTATIC to see a flop on the button with T7s against terrible players.

preflop, limping is plus ev for sure because guy is so bad and our hand has nut potential

Even if he's never folded i'd isolate , and i'd isolate a bit bigger than you did, maybe another bb or so, since u are kinda rooting for a fold, and to discourage 3-bets from behind. When he still calls you'll make slightly more profitable plays postflop due to the larger pot size.
