    Default 50nl- 3betbluff called, c/f flop?

Villain is a reg, plays 18/15, 26%steal 78% fold to 3bet, and in the hands I have on him he's never 4bet(0/13)

    BTN: $51.35
    Hero (SB): $50.60
    BB: $32.84
    UTG: $13.56

Hero posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

    Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero has T J

fold, BTN raises to $1.75, Hero raises to $5.50, fold, BTN calls $3.75

Is this a mistake given that he folds to so many 3bets? I should be using hands w/blockers, like Ax and Kx more?? Can I just fold here?

    Flop: ($11.50, 2 players) 6 2 4
    Hero bets $5.75,

I have no idea when I should be cbetting 3b pots oop... what boards do you guys cbet in this spot? Ever barrelling?

Well, your stats speak for themselves.

You just 3bet a nit who folds to almost all 3bets, and who rarely 4bets (so his flatting range is made even stronger).

Seems like as good as time as any to c/f here.

    hey!

also, i think one of the only flops worth cbetting as a bluff (around 50-60% of pot) is exactly Axx since a lot of his calling range will be big pairs and he's likely never calling AJ or below so its a pair or AK/AQ specifically ....

yah TJ is a great hand to 3b against this guy with... Since he is folding 78% of the time so you are winning the pot 78% of the time you 3b him... you just need to c/f most the times that he calls and like bspahn said cbetting an A high flop here every now is a good play too. and just c/f most the time

speaking of general 3bet stuff.. what do you guys think about 3 bet sizing.. do you bet the same oop as IP? do you 3bet higher oop to slightly reduce them calling/4betting (if you're bluffing) etc etc and why

also, what about experimenting with really small 3bets esp IP, to get regs out of their comfort zone (say at 1/2 a reg opens to 6 and you just pound on them IP by making it say 16 or 17) - they're not used to the sizing and its still super hard to do much against, and if they start 4bet bluffing more since the sizing will be small you can flat IP a lot more too... thoughts?

If he is a nit then you have to fold. He obviously has something and he knows it.
